Welcome to the latest DUO update post. This one is going to be fairly loaded, so bare with us,

Yesterdays guest post was fairly controversial within the DUO community, we figured this would be the case however we also believe this is for the best, we want you all to be critical and bring your DUO related ideas to be challenged by the rest of the community, that way we can insure we can come up with the most optimal solutions.

@rainbowdash4l recently shared his own proposal for an update to the guest author rewards in a comment , it was a very solid proposal and we invite him to share it in a guest post, we are thinking moving forward if you have a duo related idea or proposal a guest author spot will be the avenue to present it to the team as well as the DUO community.

As we hinted on in previous guest posts the 5 DUO guest bonus along with other promotions/contests etc are not guaranteed to last indefinitely, speaking of the devil as you may see from the title we have an update for the guessing game

So as of this post we are bringing the guessing game to an end, however we are going to go out with a bang and x2 the game winner and we gonna have a winner one way or another I will keep spinning our virtual die until we land on a winner @bitcoinman is also going to give our winner 2 DUO as a bonus as well!

Now the good news is the most meaningful comment contest is still going and we hope to see more of you participate with some quality engagement!

Div delays

It was brought to our attention that the divs did not come in on time, well we had an issue on the backend and we sorted it out, note that even if there is a delay like there was all the funds that are allocated to divs end up going to divs usually without delay, as always we encourage you all to let us know if you spot an issue so we can get it sorted ASAP!

There are still kinks to iron out with this new feature and we will continue to work on it as we go, so we ask you to bear with us and we are looking forward to seeing the content our stakers submit.

Important

DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.

Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

We have targeted voting weights however they may be adjusted to ensure that @duo-curator is maintaining healthy mana levels.

Manual curation

When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
