Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Larissa Kerato Rarely Loses!

Time flies! Just completed the 222nd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 4th!!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 17 SPS! An average result but still a good bag of SPS!!! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

On first glance, it might look like both teams put out the same lineup but actually the levels are different. I have the higher level cards and that made the difference. Safe win here.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

Once again, I didn't have enough firepower in this battle to overcome the opposing Quora Towershead. Kinda frustrating to be losing to Quora Towershead lineups in each brawl but that's life I guess.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

A low mana battle here, and it's quite tricky to do low mana battles because you will never know what unique combinations the opponent can field. Fortunately, Gorth is the specialist in low mana battles and we had enough to take the win. :)

Opponent fled! Another win here!

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Hmm what was my opponent thinking over here? One single card with no damage output. Hmm. Will take the win of course!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

Finally an exciting battle this brawl! 47 mana allowed more freedom in card choices and I went for a Magic lineup. Larissa Kerato when paired with Delwyn Dragonscale was really scary and it's really hard for my opponent to fight here. Perfect 6-0 win to close out the good brawl. Larissa Kerato rarely loses. Hehe.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 83% win rate this time! Pretty satisfied, I did my best I could.
