Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - New Rulesets, New Strategies

Time flies! Just completed the 277th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 9th!!!

So for the final result, we were 9th out of 9 guilds and got 50 Merits and around 2 SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won 6 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there was 1 additional win for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

If there is one card that can handle Quora Towershead, that would be Larissa Kerato. Double Strike and Bloodlust is such a deadly combination and Larissa Kerato carried the team all the way to the finish line.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

When I don't have to face Quora Towershead, I generally have a good win rate. And this was the case here. Very straightforward and easy win, due to the sheer strength of my cards and my summoner.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

I thought my Redwyrm Dragon would be immune to the Burning but apparently, this wasn't the case. Oh well, I should have opted for a card with Scavenge to match my opponent. Lesson learnt.

Opponent fled. Free win again!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

All the tricky rulesets to navigate these days! Fortunately, I had better cards in this battle and managed to get through with a win.

Battle 7 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

I won by strategy here. With Blast and Snipe in play, a Taunt card is definitely a must, otherwise many adjacent cards would be targeted. I had 2 Taunt cards and Harklaw with Shield absorbed a lot of the Blast hits. And that made it very easy for my team to win.

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 86% win rate this time, definitely a good result! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
