Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Legendary Cards Take The MVPs!

Time flies! Just completed the 221st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 5th!!!

So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 377 Merits and around 17 SPS! An average result but still a good bag of SPS!!! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won only 4 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 1 additional win for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

My opponent put out a really tough lineup to fight against but fortunately, Kulu Mastermind was there for the rescue. The damage output from both teams were very huge in this one but fortunately, I also had a Gladius card which helped significantly as well.

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

Ouch. I didn't expect to lose this one especially when I was a good start. I strategically used Reklah's ability to inflict -2 HP on the first and last card of my opponent's lineup but somehow even with Thorns, Sneak, Life Leech, all that wasn't enough.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

What a joy to watch Larissa Kerato perform! Just alone as a card, the damage was already very deadly. With Delwyn Dragonscale's boost, the damage output was really scary and after Bloodlust, there was no turning back for my opponent.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine

Quite proud of myself for this one! I managed to field 5 cards for a 14 mana, of course with a little trick in mind. Being a Holy Protection battle, I packed as many cards as I could at the front line while Flagulon Reine stayed protected for as long as possible. And the strategy succeeded! Even though my opponent fielded two Gladius cards, I still won this comfortably.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

I was never going to make it in this one. My opponent had Quora Towershead and with another Martyr boost, that was enough to clear out my team. Sigh.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 67% win rate this time! Got to improve for the next one! Brawls are getting competitive!
