Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - A Rollercoaster Brawl
Time flies! Just completed the 269th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 7th!!!
So for the final result, we were 7th out of 9 guilds and got 300 Merits and around 8 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?
Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 4th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there was 1 additional win for me.
Battle 1 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway
My opponent had two cards with Demoralise while I only had one. That made a huge deal of difference in the Melee battle and I had to take the loss here.

Battle 2 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
Ouch. I shouldn't be losing battles like this, but I underperformed. My strategy with Prophet Rosa backfired as my opponent put up a strong lineup with strong damage output.

Battle 3 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
As usual. Shrugs. I didn't need to watch this battle to know I lost in this one. If you know, you know.

Battle 4 - WIN
Opponent fled! I had to get my first win through this circumstance. That's quite demoralising but we will take it!
Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato
Magic vs Magic battle! I have to say I had the stronger deck and was comfortable in this one! Larissa Kerato made all the difference! One more win under the belt!

Battle 6 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: None
Wow! I beat a Quora Towershead!!! It was a tricky matchup with two strong Gladius cards, but Astral Entity did an awesome job with that Resurrection, and that kept Ancient Lich alive for longer. Close one but that was close to a miracle.

Battle 7 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma
Wow. Another Quora Towershead. But yet another win! This was so so close! The battle was literally won by just 1 turn. It was so tough to handle two Gladius cards but I think my cards were more tankier that made the thin difference between a win and a loss. Hard to pick one MVP because everyone did well, so it goes to the tank.

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 57% win rate this time, but still delighted over 2 wins over Quora Towershead! Lol! Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
