Modern art gallery at home 3 En/Fr PoR

My project is to decorate my home in the style of a modern art gallery.

Let me remind you of the context:
Following a separation, I kept the apartment, but practically all the decor left with my partner. All I had left were holes in the walls, which isn't very good for my morale.
Since I'm not sure I'll stay here, I don't want to invest too much in the decor, so I decided to convert the space into a temporary gallery of what I consider modern art.
The objects used are salvaged and repurposed from their original function. The cost for this project must be zero; I don't buy anything.
It makes me feel good to express my creativity and emotions in this work, hence my interpretations.

So here is the third step, which highlights the shape of the square oriented like a diamond that emerges from the two previous steps.
Rotating a square 45° to transform it into a diamond makes a lot of sense to me.
A square on its base is a sign of stability; when you rotate it on its tip, it becomes precariously balanced; it's almost an intermediate phase before a new 45° rotation that would allow it to regain its stability.
But this square on its tip, while losing stability, gains dynamism, just as change is dynamic; a force is at work here, and the 90° angles are thrust vectors.
A thrust that I hope won't be downward for me, nor backward; I aim forward, and perhaps upward if I can manage it.
This is an example of my self-therapy through artistic creation.

To return to more material things, the mirror with a black frame in my entrance hall is one of the few things I had left, so I naturally rotated it 45° so that it would be in the same diamond theme as my wall frieze.

Another wall in my entryway had a large coat rack that also served as a bench. When it was gone, I had three holes left. I covered them with two pieces of cardboard, one solid and the other drilled, similar to my first ones, in a diamond-shaped orientation, of course.

On a large wall in my living room, there was a beautiful poster that has since disappeared. Since it's in line with my entryway, I also installed a square there, oriented in a diamond shape; it's a garden furniture cushion.

I think I'll stop there with the diamonds; my other installations will focus more on the object itself, and how its transformation or display gives it a new meaning that can engage the viewer or visitor.

By viewing the images I uploaded, I realize that I have made a small spoiler of my next article, it is not a big deal, "spoil" will be the keyword of the Proof of Reading (PoR) of this post, the first person who uses it in their comment will receive 1 unit of HSBI.

Je rappelle le contexte:
Suite à une séparation, j'ai gardé l'appartement mais pratiquement toute la décoration est partie avec ma compagne, il ne me restait que des trous dans les murs, ce qui n'est pas très bon pour le moral.
Comme je ne suis pas sûr de rester ici, je ne veux pas trop investir dans la décoration, j'ai donc décider d'aménager l'espace en galerie temporaire de ce que j'assimile à de l'art moderne.
Les objets utilisés sont récupérés et détournés de leur fonction d'origine, le coût doit être nul pour ce projet, je n'achète rien.
Cela me fait du bien d'exprimer ma créativité et mes émotions dans ce travail, d'où mes propositions d'interprétation.

Voici donc la troisième étape qui met en avant la forme du carré orienté en losange qui émerge des deux précédentes étapes.
Faire tourner un carré de 45° pour le transformer en losange prend beaucoup de sens pour moi.
Un carré sur sa base est signe de stabilité, quand on le fait pivoter sur sa pointe il devient en équilibre précaire, c'est presque une phase intermédiaire avant une nouvelle rotation de 45° qui lui permettrait de retrouver sa stabilité.
Mais ce carré sur sa pointe, si il perd en stabilité, gagne en dynamisme, tout comme le changement est dynamique, une force est à l'oeuvre ici et les angles à 90° sont des vecteurs de poussée.
Une poussée qui je l'espère ne sera pas vers le bas pour moi, ni vers l'arrière, je vise l'avant et peut être le haut si j'y arrive.
C'est un exemple de mon autothérapie par la création artistique.

Pour revenir à des choses plus matérielles, le miroir avec un cadre noir dans mon entrée est une des rare choses qui me restaient, je l'ai donc tout naturellement fait pivoter de 45° pour qu'il soit dans le même thème de losange que ma frise murale.

Un autre mur de mon entrée avait un grand porte manteaux faisant aussi office de banc, quand il est parti il me restait 3 trous, je les ai masqués avec deux cartons l'un plein et l'autre percé, semblables à mes premiers installés, en orientation de losange bien sûr.

Sur un grand mur de mon séjour, il y avait une belle affiche aujourd'hui disparue, comme il est dans l'alignement visuel de mon entrée, j'ai là aussi installé un carré orienté en losange, il s'agit d'un coussin de salon de jardin.

Je crois que je vais arrêter là pour les losanges, mes autres installations seront davantage centrées sur l'objet en tant que tel, et en quoi sa transformation ou son exposition lui donnent un sens nouveau qui peut interpeller le spectateur ou le visiteur.

En visualisant les images que j'ai uploadées, je réalise que j'ai fait un petit spoil de mon prochain article, ce n'est pas bien grave, "spoil" sera ainsi le mot clef du Proof of Reading (PoR) de ce post, la première personne qui l'utilisera dans son commentaire recevra 1 unité de HSBI.
