Quite a self-explanatory title and it is my inspiration for the next few posts on ttt!
The year is now 1983 and we are listening to a band that I have showcased at least once before on ttt ...

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

The Police
For this week’s ttt, we are back with one of the biggest bands in the world at the time.
Although if truth be told I was not really a fan of their style at this time compared to their first two albums.
Today we have three tunes from their fifth and final album Synchronicity, which they recorded in separate rooms of the studio because they could barely stand to look at each other.
The band comprised Sting (vocals/bass), Andy Summers (guitar), and Stewart Copeland (drums) and if you know you know!
Here are three fun tunes from their Synchronicity of 1983.
Tune 1 - The Police - Every Breath You Take
We have to start with the biggest single from the album and of the year!
This was written after Sting's divorce and is one dark song lol it is not the sweet love ballad that so many people who play it at their weddings think!
Tune 2 - The Police - Wrapped Around Your Finger
Released as the second UK single from the album in July 1983, this track paints a picture of a power struggle where the apprentice eventually gains the upper hand over the master.
Tune 3 - The Police - Synchronicity II
So the lead image I used is a homage to the chorus of this song ... although we have lochs in Scotland not lakes lol!
This is the livlier song of the album and my favourita!
So there you have it, 3 songs released in 1983 from The Police00 with my 80s Soundtrack post as the inspiration!
