Modern art gallery at home 2 En/Fr PoR

My intention is to redecorate the walls of my apartment in the style of a modern art gallery, finding inspiration in reclaimed objects repurposed from their original purpose.

The black cardboard grid was my starting point, and I had many other holes or hooks to colonize on my walls.
I proceeded by contiguity by decorating the wall on the left, which had three holes. The two holes at the ends were aligned and previously supported a large mirror that extended almost to the floor, allowing a full-length view.

I wanted to maintain a unity of shape and theme by attaching two diamond-shaped aluminum squares salvaged from my old, broken Nespresso machine. So I had a continuity of form with the cardboard on the wall next to me, and I saw these metal plates as two cold eyes that reminded me of absence, the absence of the other, the absence of a mirror and therefore of myself.
It depressed me, even though I briefly considered adding a big mouth underneath to make a giant smiley, but it seemed out of place.
Since a new cardboard box became available (the miracle of consumption) and I had a hole to hide, I installed it between the two "eyes," which took on a new meaning.

I had before me a sort of frieze that could be read horizontally, inviting the gaze to move from one shape to another to decipher their meaning.
I achieved stability in the repetition of the shapes and movement through the dynamics of the gaze. And a rhythm as well, I believe. The metal plates invite a pause in thought, a time to refocus on oneself, while the black grids are more stimulating for the gaze and imagination, like optical puzzles.

This rhythm, however, is intended to be slow; through the reduced number of items, it is an invitation to slow down, not to consume the creation too quickly, to gently allow an emotion to emerge, a meaning that will come from this moment of exchange with the art, a mirror of our introspection.

The exterior elements (door frames) with different lines of force from the composition create a frame that further highlights the diamonds, and the break with the one on the right creates a sort of asymmetrical diptych or a slight resistance that can be crossed with fluidity or force depending on how you interpret it.

I think I'm done with the "Nespresso" theme, which is the keyword in the Proof of Reading (PoR) for this post. The first person to use it in their comment will earn 1 HSBI unit.
But I don't think I'm done with the diamonds, nor with my modern art-inspired interior design.

Mon intention est de redécorer les murs de mon appartement à la manière d'une galerie d'art moderne en trouvant mon inspiration dans des objets récupérés et détournés de leur usage initial.

La grille en carton noir a été mon point de départ, et j'avais beaucoup d'autres trous ou crochets à coloniser sur mes murs.
J'ai procédé par contiguïté en habillant le mur qui était à gauche et qui proposait 3 trous, les 2 trous aux extrémités étaient alignés et supportaient précédemment un grand miroir descendant presque jusqu'au sol, permettant de se voir en pied.

J'ai voulu rester dans une unité de forme et de thème en fixant deux carrés losangés en aluminium récupérés sur mon ancienne machine Nespresso cassée.
J'avais donc une continuité de forme avec le carton du mur d'à coté et je voyais ces plaques métalliques comme deux yeux froids qui me renvoyaient à l'absence, l'absence de l'autre, l'absence de de miroir et donc de moi même.
Ca m'a déprimé même si j'ai pensé un instant rajouter une grande bouche en dessous pour en faire un smiley géant, mais ça m'a semblé déplacé.
Comme un nouveau carton s'est montré disponible (le miracle de la consommation) et que j'avais un trou à cacher, je l'ai installé entre les deux "yeux" qui ont pris un nouveau sens.

J'avais devant moi une sorte de frise qui pouvait se lire horizontalement, le regard étant invité à se déplacer d'une forme à l'autre pour en déchiffrer le sens.
J'ai obtenu une stabilité dans la répétition des formes et un mouvement par la dynamique du regard. Et un rythme aussi je crois, les plaques métalliques invitant à une pause dans la pensée, un temps de recentrement sur soi, alors que les grilles noires sont plus stimulantes pour le regard et l'imagination comme des énigmes optiques.

Ce rythme cependant se veut lent, par le nombre réduit d'items, c'est une invitation à ralentir, à ne pas consommer trop vite la création, à laisser émerger doucement une émotion, un sens qui viendra de ce moment d'échange avec l'oeuvre en miroir de notre introspection.

Les éléments extérieurs (encadrement de portes) avec des ligne de force différentes de la composition amène un cadre faisant ressortir davantage les losanges et la rupture avec celui de droite crée comme une sorte de diptyque asymétrique ou un petite résistance que l'on peut franchir avec fluidité ou en force selon la lecture qu'on en a.

Je crois que j'en ai fini avec le thème "Nespresso" qui est le mot clef du Proof of Reading (PoR) de ce post, la première personne qui l'utilisera dans son commentaire obtiendra 1 unité de HSBI.
Mais je n'en ai pas fini avec les losanges je pense, ni avec ma décoration intérieure inspirée de l'art moderne.
