On this June 9th Three Tune Tuesday morning, I’m going full on alt eighties synth! Picking three tunes from three albums & three separate artists! All pioneers in the Synth alt scene who would go on to be major influences on nineties & 2000’s alternative artists who incorporated synth into there music!

For Bonus Tune I go with an artist heavily influenced by the three picks above and putting out his first album & only eighties release is Nine Inch Nails and the 1989 album Pretty Hate Machine. Most the artists above had a few albums out before the release I chose from and Trent aka Nine Inch Nails had years of being influenced by all three! Just making the eighties cut off its NIN & the song Terrible Lie!

Finally you’ve gone back further than 1990’s. I like it.

Here in my car
I feel safest of all
I can lock all my doors
It's the only way to live in cars
Gary Numan must had seen the future with many people living in their car today.

He saw the future indeed! Ironically he hated Cars song for decades, I guess the one hit wonder thing at least in USA mainstream wise, but now he has grown to embrace it! He influenced many artists decade & decades to come.

How u been?
