My 2025 Hive Goals Update 8/23/25

I joined the #saturdaysavers group, so instead of staggering these posts out every few weeks, I'm posting my progress weekly. Let's see where I ended up!

It's always good to revisit goals to track progress, and posting about it is a good way to cement it in my mind. It also acts as a subconscious reminder.

Hive Power
My primary savings goal last year was to reach 6,000 HP by the end of the year. I beat that and ended with a little over 8,000 HP! My next goal will be to push to 10,000 HP by the end of this year! 😁

This week, I'm at 9,030! 😁

DUO
I had to include this one because I, @bitcoinman and @thebighigg created this token. If you stake at least 200 DUO, it pays Hive dividends, and you can have one post per day curated by @duo-curator! EDSI
I hit my goal of 130 a while back, so now I'll hold this pace and enjoy the drips from it and reinvest those by buying up more EDSI. I'm currently at 343. I increased my delegation to 2500 HP in order to grow this faster. 😁

DAB/DBOND
I'm currently staking 2006 DBOND, up from 1995, to mint me new DAB each day. Since I've reached my goal with EDSI, I'll be slowly buying more to try and get to 2000.

A new project called RUG coin started (No joke, and it's being run by silverstackeruk), where you can buy the coin and hold it liquid to earn DBOND. I'll be buying that so I can keep my DAB liquid.

I have 1,072 DAB right now. I currently get about 0.5-0.6 DAB/day. My original goal was 630 DAB, so I moved this goal to 800 by the end of the year. Since I've accomplished that goal, I'll be taking profit by selling half of what I bring in from DBOND mining rewards.

PWR
I'm slowly adding to the liquidity pool. My goal is to get to where I'm earning 1-2 PWR per day just from the liquidity pool and then keep those liquid in my wallet. Right now, I'm at about 0.21/day since the pool APR has gone up. Empo is paying Hive dividends for liquidity pool providers, so I plan to take profit on half of what I get and put the other half back into the pool.

SIM
I stopped buying SIM since they cut their rewards payout in half. I'm currently holding what I have and letting my holdings grow from liquidity pool rewards.

CENT
I recently bought quite a bit of CENT to put in the liquidity pool since it has a great APR. My goal here is to sell half of what I earn in fees and put the other half back in the pool to continue growing my holdings. This will help me with my goal of having a daily Hive drip in the form of CENT tokens I can swap for Hive and Swap.Hive earned from pool fees.

2025 End Goal
My overall goal with these investments is to get in while they're cheaper and maintain a daily and monthly Hive drip, not including my regular posting regiment. With everything included, my goal is to bring in an average of 6-7 Hive/day by the end of 2025. I'm currently still hovering at about 3.5 Hive/day, so there's still room for improvement, but I see myself getting closer to this goal as the year progresses. I may take some profits during this time, but the majority of earnings will be reinvested to keep growing. While I'm not quite at this level of passive income, I've made a lot of good progress towards it.
