On this brand new for Friday February 13th 2026! I’m covering tunes from 4 separate releases from the band NOFX. One of the most influential punk bands from the nineties! Starting in 1992 & finishing up in 1999 I pick one tune of each of the chosen releases. I’ll put album & tune info below the tunes, enjoy! Cheers!
NOFX was the first punk band in the nineties to really capture that new sound. The 1992 album was what led to albums like Green Day Dookie & Offspring Smash two years later. In 1994 when Green Day went major label and sold millions of records & Offspring actually was on the Same indie label as NOFX in 1994 when Smash sold millions of records. NOFX’s 1994 Punk In Drublic record sold over 500K copies which was unheard of for a punk band a year prior.

Awesome Friday post! I loved the songs, NOFX is a band I don't know a whole lot about to be honest. Then again when they were producing in the 90's I was in South America! I do love their sound, and you can hear how they influenced that 90's punk sound for those who followed. Very cool!
