electric scooters have become popular amazingly quickly. i haven't tried one but i'm sure they are lots of fun to ride. they're available to rent plenty of places around cities here. while i'm sure they are a thrilling way to get from place to place but the way they are handled in traffic is often downright dangerous. i almost hit one a while back. it came out of nowhere blazing full speed downhill through an intersection and i was lucky not to have hit the reckless teenage girl riding the thing.

i've heard that rentals were banned in Paris. Good decision. anyway, when parked like this they make nice shadows
