Great job! I guess that focus on time rather than elevation gain really worked out. Plus you got the wife off to the gym in time as well! lol That's was a nice scenic area to run and even some nice cool fog to cool you down! Very impressive numbers you put in today, and it's good you feel those muscles getting stronger. You will be in top shape for the marathon when the time comes.

Having never done hill running I couldn't give you any pointers, sorry. If it were hiking or mountain climbing I could help out more there, although it's been a few years!

Here are some nice hills you can see from my house! There's even some gold to be found if you know where to look! Not quite as spectacular as the more weathered Alps, but still gorgeous mountains!
