When Splinterlands Meets Electroneum and the Birth of ElectroFox Miner

Hello Splinterlands warriors. Honestly, I had started to think that Splinterlands had already gone “crazy” enough with all the updates over the past few months. We just got busy with new rulesets, new skins, and the Conflict Event—now here comes something even more unique. This time, the world of Splinterlands officially collides with the world of Electroneum through a new event called the Voltage Event.
And the star of this event immediately caught my attention: the ElectroFox Miner.

The first time I saw the card, I instantly felt that this wasn’t just an ordinary card. Not only because it looks cool, but because it serves two functions at once. It can be used in battle, and it can also generate Electroneum Voltage Points (EVP) when staked on land. It feels like having a pet monster that fights during the day and works to earn money at night.
At first, I thought a mining feature like this would be complicated. But after slowly going through the details, it actually became quite interesting. The EVP you earn can be used to open Voltage Reward Chests, which contain various rewards—from ETN, exclusive skins, Glint, and Energy, to Frontier Packs. And as usual, the moment I saw the words “limited supply,” my collector instincts immediately started to kick in.

What excites me the most is how Splinterlands now feels more like a living world, not just a card game. In the past, we only focused on winning battles. Now we’re thinking about land, staking, wallets, resources, and even crossover events like this. It really feels like the game is evolving into something much bigger.
Of course, there are challenges. To participate in this event, players need a compatible Electroneum wallet, such as Zypto App or MetaMask, and then connect it to their Splinterlands account. This part might be a bit confusing for new players. I’d suggest being cautious, since it involves wallets and account security.

From a gameplay perspective, ElectroFox also looks quite promising. It’s not just a mining display piece. I really like this kind of concept—when a card has both utility and strength in battle. It makes the card feel more alive and valuable in the long run.
For me personally, the Voltage Event brings a fresh sense of excitement. There’s curiosity, a desire to try things out, and that feeling of being a new player again—still figuring out the system. And maybe that’s why I’ve stuck around this long—Splinterlands always finds a way to keep us curious about what’s coming next.
My advice for other players, especially newcomers: don’t rush into the hype. Take time to learn the system, understand how wallets work, and calculate your available resources. Because events like this aren’t just about buying in quickly—they’re about understanding long-term opportunities.
And who knows, a few months from now, ElectroFox might become one of the most sought-after cards in Praetoria.
