Three Modes, Three Stories, and a Long Journey at the End of the Splinterlands Season
![]()
Greetings, Splinterlands warriors!
Another season has finally come to an end. If I had to sum it up in a single sentence, I'd say this season wasn't about chasing a single ranking—it was about testing just how far my collection and strategies could hold up across multiple battlefields.
For the first time, I fully committed to playing all three game modes. I wanted to see how my account would progress if I approached the game more comprehensively. It certainly wasn't easy. Each mode has its own rhythm, meta, and unique challenges. Sometimes I had just finished a battle in Modern, only to jump straight into Survival. And after that, Frontier was still waiting.
Was it exhausting?
Absolutely.
Was it worth it?
Even more so.

I began my journey in Frontier. There, I reached Silver II with a 1,320 rating. What made me especially proud wasn't just the rank itself, but also finishing at 22nd place on the Leaderboard with a 55.34% win rate.
As an extra reward, I also earned four Foundation Cards.
Rewards like these always make me smile. Foundation Cards don't just expand my collection—they also open the door to new strategies that I can experiment with in future seasons.
My next stop was Modern.
Competition in Modern always feels much tougher. More and more players arrive with stronger collections and increasingly refined strategies. Fortunately, I managed to hold my ground once again.
I finished the season in Gold I with a 2,600 rating, maintained a 51.47% win rate, and secured 93rd place on the Leaderboard.
From my Modern battles alone, I managed to collect 86,775 Glint.
A pretty satisfying amount, especially considering I was also actively playing the other game modes.
But if there was one mode that truly surprised me this season, it had to be Survival.
At first, I only intended to play it as a change of pace. Instead, the results exceeded all of my expectations.
I climbed to Silver III with a 1,260 rating, achieved an impressive 67.48% win rate, and even finished 32nd on the Leaderboard.
The rewards were just as exciting.

Besides earning around 20,000 Glint, I also received two copies of Darkbuard Hellion, a dual-element card that I believe has tremendous long-term potential.
I don't have enough copies to upgrade it yet, but that's exactly what makes it exciting. Now I have another goal to chase in the coming seasons.
Once all the season rewards had been collected, it was finally time for the moment I always look forward to the most.
Time to spend my Glint.
This time, I didn't immediately chase rare cards.
Instead, I chose what I believe is a much better long-term investment.

I spent most of my Glint upgrading my Exemplar from Level 10 to Level 25.
The upgrade consumed a significant amount of Glint, but I genuinely believe it was the right decision. A higher-level Exemplar gives me much more room to improve its stats and customize its abilities to better fit my preferred playstyle.
I'm still not rushing to lock in a specific ability, though. I'd rather watch how the meta develops and figure out which combinations work best before making that final choice.
Sometimes, the best decision isn't the fastest one.
After finishing my Exemplar upgrades, I still had some Glint left.
And, as every Splinterlands player knows, it's incredibly difficult to resist the temptation of opening card draws.

So I spent the remaining Glint on 300 Common Draws.
Opening hundreds of cards is always an experience of its own. The screen kept filling with card after card. As expected, most of them were Common cards. But hidden among those piles, I began noticing several cards whose BCX totals had finally become high enough for a level upgrade.
That was exactly what I had been hoping for.
Not simply collecting more cards, but strengthening the collection I already owned.
I'll share the complete upgrade results in my next post because I think that journey deserves a story of its own.
This season may have ended, but my journey is still far from over.
I still want to perfect my Exemplar.
I still need to gather enough Darkbuard Hellion copies to level it up.
And I still have hundreds of Common Draw cards that could reshape my collection.
Now there's only one thing left to do—the same thing that marks the beginning of every new season.
Step back into the arena, refine my strategies, and start collecting Glint all over again.
Because in Splinterlands, the end of a season is never the finish line. It's simply the final page of one chapter, just before the next adventure begins.
