Guild Glory and Lessons Learned | Rising with ClaNFT

Hello, Splinterlands warriors! 👋
Welcome back to my Splinterlands post.

This new season really feels fresh, doesn’t it? With so many updates—from the revamped interface to the introduction of new skins—the whole battle atmosphere feels different. Somehow, my fighting spirit is back on fire again. Maybe it’s that “early season” vibe that always makes you curious and eager to try new things in the arena.

In this post, I want to share a bit about my experience joining the Brawl with my beloved guild, ClaNFT. For those who don’t know, a Brawl is a special guild-vs-guild battle mode in Splinterlands. Each member chooses a fray based on their card collection and strength, then fights to earn points for the guild. The rewards are no joke—ranging from Merits and SPS to the bragging rights when your guild climbs up the leaderboard!

And the good news is, ClaNFT finished in second place, right below NFG CLUB LEGION I. It’s a result I’m quite happy with, especially considering how fierce the competition was at this tier. Out of eight battles, I managed to win six matches, which I’m really proud of. Every round was intense and full of surprises. From that contribution, I earned 2,700 Merits and 30.17 SPS.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a real Brawl without a few bumps along the way. I took two losses that were pretty hard to swallow—but after reviewing them, I realized those battles were almost unwinnable. My opponents had strong collections, especially from the early sets. One match that stuck with me was against the deadly magic combo: RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN and RULER OF THE SEA. With their Blast effect and high magic power, my lineup was torn apart before I could even strike back.

I had deployed two of my favorite Gladiator cards, but the enemy’s barrage hit hard from the very first round. One Blast explosion from that magic combo, and my formation was in ruins.

Still, I learned a lot from this Brawl. One key takeaway: having a broader card collection really matters. When your collection is limited, your strategies are limited too. Sometimes you’ve got a great idea in your head, but can’t execute it because you’re missing a key monster. My Gladius collection is currently around 30%, so I need to grind more Merits to open packs and expand my lineup.

What makes Brawls special isn’t just the rewards—it’s also the sense of teamwork and unity within the guild. There’s a certain pride in seeing your guild’s name rise in the rankings, especially when you know you contributed to that success. From this Brawl, I learned that victory isn’t just about having strong cards—it’s about reading your opponent, adapting to the situation, and enjoying the process. Because in Splinterlands, every battle tells a story.

So, if you’re new to the game or haven’t joined a Brawl yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You don’t have to win right away; what matters is learning, contributing, and enjoying the journey. At the end of the day, the greatest victory isn’t just on the scoreboard—it’s in the experiences you gain along the way.

See you in the next Brawl, and may the arena always favor your best strategy! ⚔️🔥
