Green Days and Big Wins: Hive Rises, ClaNFT Dominates
![]()
Greetings, Splinterlands warriors!
In this post, I’d like to share another story from my latest brawl results with the ClaNFT guild. But before jumping into the battlefield, many players couldn’t help but notice the recent movement of HIVE, which surged to around 0.09 USD a few days ago. It definitely lifted the mood among players. Even though it has slightly dipped since then, there’s still hope that the crypto market—especially the Hive ecosystem and SPS—will regain momentum.
As usual, my guildmates entrusted me once again with defending fray 12. At this point, it feels like a permanent seat—if it’s ever empty, I’d probably feel lost myself.

This brawl was quite busy, with a total of 9 battles available. Out of those, 3 were automatic wins because the opposing guild didn’t fill their slots. The rest, I had to fight for real.
Thankfully, the results were quite satisfying.
Out of all my battles, I only lost 2. Four matches were secured with strategies that, in my opinion, worked quite well. Not perfect, but definitely effective.

Overall, the guild’s performance was outstanding. ClaNFT managed to collect 297 points with a total of 99 wins, securing first place in this brawl. There’s something special about seeing your guild sitting at the top of the leaderboard—it’s a small but meaningful sense of satisfaction.
The rewards were pretty sweet too:
The guild has won spoils of 48 Crowns in the latest brawl! Also, each fully participating member was awarded 2,400 Merits and players with a spellbook received 22.344 staked SPS.
It’s not life-changing wealth, of course—but it’s more than enough to keep the motivation alive.
Now, out of all the battles, there was one that truly caught my attention. It felt special because I once again witnessed just how insane the potential of Riftwing can be when played at max level.

Many people usually see Riftwing as just an annoying nuisance. But in this battle, it turned into a core powerhouse. The reason? Its combination with Bren Palesworn.
Bren Palesworn’s Weapon Training ability granted Riftwing additional attack power. And since Riftwing already has incredibly annoying survivability—combined with its scaling endurance as rounds go on—it became a nightmare for the opponent.
What made the battle even more enjoyable was the mix of ranged and melee attacks working together. Riftwing essentially became a wild, ever-growing monster. The longer the battle lasted, the harder it was to stop.
And honestly, seeing a card that’s often considered “just a filler” turn into a match-winner is deeply satisfying.

Aside from the victories, there was another thing that made me happy this week: my merits finally reached 10k.
Which means… it’s almost time to open a Gladius Case.
And as always, opening Gladius packs comes with its own excitement. Sometimes you get something ordinary, sometimes a surprise. So I’ll save the results for the next post.
This week’s brawl reminded me once again that sometimes, seemingly simple cards can become incredibly deadly when paired with the right strategy. Riftwing is a perfect example of that.
A quick tip from me: don’t get too fixated on popular meta monsters. Sometimes the overlooked cards can be the true game-changers.
And hopefully… as SPS and HIVE start turning green again, our brawl results will get greener too 😄
