Finally, a Smooth Brawl
![]()
Greetings, Splinterlands warriors!
This time, I’m back with another Brawl story with my guild, ClaNFT. And for the first time after several Brawls where my results went up and down like crypto prices, I finally have a reason to breathe a little easier.
The reason is simple: 8 wins, 0 losses!
Yes, you read that right. Not a single battle left me staring at the screen thinking, “Why did I choose this team?”
Out of those eight wins, five were automatic victories because my opponents didn’t submit a team to the arena. So, if I’m being honest, don’t call me a Brawl champion just yet. Some of those victories came without me even having to send a single monster into battle.

But still, a win is a win. In the statistics, there’s no footnote saying, “This one was won because the opponent didn’t show up.”
From those eight victories, I managed to contribute 24 points to the guild. It felt pretty good to see a clean battle record with no losses at all. After some previous Brawls filled with painful lessons, this time it felt like Splinterlands was giving me permission to puff my chest out just a little.
But apparently, Splinterlands has its own way of reminding us not to get carried away.
Even though I managed to sweep all of my personal battles, our opponents this time were quite tough. In the end, what matters isn’t just an individual record, but the combined results of all guild members.
The final result: ClaNFT finished with 89 wins and 39 losses, with no draws. With that record, we had to settle for 3rd place.

And this is where I was reminded of something once again: Brawl is a team game. We might get eight wins individually, but the final result is still the result of everyone’s efforts. Some teammates win a lot, while others may have to take a few losses. All those numbers eventually come together as one result.
And that’s exactly what makes being part of a guild interesting.
For new players, Brawl can be a very valuable place to learn. We don’t just learn how to choose cards and build lineups. We also learn how to read the ruleset, observe other players’ strategies, and understand that personal victories are only one part of the journey.
Sometimes, we can learn more from watching a guildmate’s battle than from our own. Seeing how another player approaches an opponent, chooses a summoner, or positions their monsters can open up ideas that we might never have thought of ourselves.
Brawl also teaches us something simple: don’t feel like you’re playing alone, even though you’re the one pressing the battle button.
With our 3rd-place finish, every member who fully participated received 2,200 Merits, while players with a Spellbook received 27,676 staked SPS.
And for me, this reward felt pretty special. That extra 2,200 Merits finally brought my total to around 10,000 Merits.
Which means the time has finally come.
Gladius Case, here I come!

But I’ll save the story about opening the Gladius pack for my next post. Let’s keep a little mystery alive. Besides, opening a Gladius Case is like opening a mysterious envelope. You hope something good is waiting inside, but sometimes what comes out just makes you smile and say, “Well… time to level this one up.”
For now, I’m simply enjoying the result of this Brawl. Eight wins without a single loss is certainly satisfying, but more importantly, it feels good to experience that excitement of playing together with the guild again.
