A Splinterlands Season That Wasn’t Always Perfect
![]()
Hello Splinterlands warriors—how did your season end? Hopefully still good, or at least not too painful. Because honestly, last season wasn’t a glorious one for me—but that’s exactly what made the story more interesting.

I finished the season in Silver I. Not my best achievement, but not a total failure either. There was a calm sense of “it is what it is,” even though deep down there was still a whisper: I could’ve done better. But that’s how it goes—I was a bit off my rhythm last season. Real life stepped in—work came unannounced, and Splinterlands had to share the time.

Even so, reaching Silver I still came with small rewards. A few Common cards showed up as tier rewards. Nothing special, but enough to remind me that every step still counts, no matter how small.
If we’re talking numbers, I only managed to collect around 36,707 Glint from gameplay, and by the end of the season it totaled about 70,000 Glint. A number that… well, honestly, isn’t very satisfying compared to previous seasons at the same tier.
Usually in Silver I, I can be a bit more aggressive—both in terms of battle volume and results. But this time, the rhythm just wasn’t consistent. Sometimes I played, sometimes I didn’t. Sometimes I was focused, sometimes my mind was still on work. And as always, Splinterlands isn’t too forgiving for half-hearted players.
But strangely, that’s where I learned something:
not every season has to be a peak. Some seasons are just about surviving.

What made this season feel different was the number of new things introduced all at once:
- new cards
- new rulesets that sometimes force you to rethink everything from scratch
- even skin features that start to change how we see cards
The Splinterlands arena feels more alive now—but also more demanding. It’s no longer enough to rely on old strategies. Sometimes you have to be willing to fail first before getting it right.
I had a few matches that, looking back now, are actually quite funny. Going in confidently with my favorite combo, only to lose in two rounds because the ruleset didn’t fit. That’s when I realized—the meta keeps evolving, and we can’t afford to stand still.

In the middle of an average ranked performance, I still managed to join several Brawls with my guild. And honestly, this is one of the things that keeps me connected to the game.
From Brawls, I still earned:
- SPS
- Merits
And more than that, I gained something you can’t measure with numbers:
a sense of togetherness.
Sometimes we lose together, sometimes we win together. But there’s always a story afterward. And that’s what keeps me logging in—even when I’m busy.
Lessons from This Season
With around 70k Glint, I already have a simple plan:
just open it—turn it into cards. Because honestly, what I need right now isn’t just savings, but collection upgrades.
My card levels still need a push. And from experience, sometimes a single small upgrade can change the outcome of many battles.
So even though this season’s results weren’t optimal, there’s still a small hope at the end:
maybe the next chest opening will bring a surprise that makes up for everything.
From this “ordinary” season, I actually learned some uncommon lessons:
- Consistency matters more than short bursts of ambition
- Adaptation matters more than memorizing strategies
- And most importantly, enjoying the process matters just as much as the result
Because if you only chase rank, you burn out quickly. But if you enjoy the journey, you last much longer.
This season may not have been my best, but it wasn’t wasted either. The journey is still long, and the Glint is still waiting to be opened.
A short piece of advice from me:
play at your own life rhythm—don’t force it, but don’t stop learning either.
See you in the next end-of-season report. 🔥
