Alive And Thriving||Thankful Thursday||Closed Mind Or Being Cautious. 07/30/26
The last Thursday of the month of July came with so much excitement for me, despite all the hurdles crossed. I feel so excited seeing that the month rolls by. It's really been a journey of a rollercoaster ride but I'm super grateful, not that it was a challenge free but for the fact that I was able to get through them all.
It's indeed a great privilege to be alive and thriving. Navigating through life with faith and positivity, knowing that though the road may be rough and rocky the end will be plain and smooth. It's just a temporary phase. Moving with an open mind not minding unpleasant past experiences is something that I find most interesting.

Sometimes in the cause of looking for greener pastures we make decisions which outcomes may turn out bad. Rather than blame others for what went wrong, we take responsibility for our actions, since we would have also taken the credit if it had gone as planned.
The fact that things did not go as we envisaged, is not a justification not to try again in the future? I think so. Again, because of the fear of not wanting to fail again; playing safe or being cautious, which is not a bad idea, we close our minds. But it should not transcend into a closed mind. Closed to looking into other things that might rewrite the previous experience.
While we try to play safe not wanting to get burnt, I think we should also be dynamic enough to be open to look into new opportunities. Not generalizing or being negative that it will go the same way as the previous ones. Life is dynamic, so should we.
Life is a risk, be cautious but open minded. It's thankful Thursday and the very last one for the month of July. I'm super grateful for everything. Most especially for being awesome, alive and thriving.
This is a beautiful write up. Thought-provoking and motivating too.
There's actually been times when I closed my mind to trying new opportunities because of the fear they'd turn out same way as the others.
And then that pangs of regret that comes with it which can be destabilizing.
Honestly, life ain't easy.
