Today I'm going to show you how to make the Sloth Commander with moldable foam (foam clay) a character from the new game Sloth's Mining War. I hope you all enjoy the creation, and to the entire community in general, I'm super happy to share my experience with this flexible material. Join me!

Buenas Noches familia #diyhub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) al comandante perezoso, un personaje del nuevo juego Sloth's Mining War. Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame!

The inspiration for this project came thanks to an idea from @slothlydoesit, who suggested in a comment that I could design a sloth for marketing the new game Sloth's Mining War.

I still don't know what this new game is about—I hope to get help from the creators to learn more—but SlothBuzz is a community website on the Hive blockchain that helps small creators grow. The $Slothbuzz token is used for content curation on Sloth.Buzz. Now I'm sharing the version I made in foam clay for the #slothsminingwar community. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

La inspiración para este proyecto llegó gracias a la idea de @slothlydoesit, donde me recomendó mediante un comentario que si podía diseñar un perezoso para marketing del nuevo juego Sloth's Mining War.

Este nuevo juego aún no se de que trata, espero tener ayuda de los creadores para aprender; pero SlothBuzz es un sitio web comunitario en la blockchain de Hive que ayuda a pequeños creadores a crecer.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

Foami moldeable Blanco / White foam clay

Foami moldeable Negro / Black foam clay

Foami moldeable Carmelita / Carmelite foam clay

Foami moldeable Beige / Beige foam clay

Foami moldeable Amarillo / Yellow foam clay

STEP / PASO 1

In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of carmelite clay to make the character's body. Then, I mold it into a ball shape with my hands, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color carmelita para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

STEP / PASO 2

Next, I develop the character's body parts: its head, its forward-facing eyes (binocular vision), its mining helmet, its lantern in the center, its tool belt, its long legs, and its curved claws—always giving it my best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en el personaje, su cabeza, sus ojos hacia adelante (visión binocular), su casco de minería, su linterna al centro, el cinturón de herramientas, sus patas largas y sus garras curvas, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

STEP / PASO 3

Finally, I apply the last touches to the eyes and the mining pick using yellow, black, and white tones. This stage is a bit more intricate, as the parts are smaller to work with during modeling.

Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en los ojos y el pico de trabajo minero, con tonalidades de amarillo, negro y blanco. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It's worth noting that this design was sourced from @slothlydoesit, but the actual creation of the character is done by me, with dedication, so they look even nicer in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado por @slothlydoesit; pero la realización del animado es hecho por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
