Health News on the Possibilities of a Blind Person to Read Again! | HIVE Titbit about my return from EDS Project | Alive and Thriving on Monday, October 20, 2025 | Actifit report number 1299!
On HIVE, there are many projects that help us earn in a passive mode.
Holding tokens and delegating tokens are two means for passive earning. With the EDS project, I am earning both the project's token and HIVE for delegating my HP!
For Delegating HP to the eds-vote account, we get a weekly payment on the EDSI token. And, for holding that EDSI, we get a weekly payment on HIVE. I delegated 1509 HP to the account mentioned above. So far, I have received a little over 15 EDSI. Last Monday, for holding those EDSI, I received 0.052 HIVE!

One of the good sides of modern technology is that it's making our lives easier and helping us in various ways. Application of modern technology in the health sector has brought many miraculous achievements, with permission from the Almighty! Let us learn about such awesome news in short. A blind person can read again with the help of a life-changing implant!!
The Dry Form of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is one of the important causes of blindness (there is also a Wet form of AMD). Around the world, it is estimated that five million people are suffering from this form of AMD. They are either already blind or on the highway to blindness. In AMD, people start having blindness in the central part of their visual field! Part of the retina is damaged and cells die, leading to gradual blindness! Today's hopeful news is for the blind people of this category!
The process is quite delicate and complex. A photovoltaic microchip of 2 mm square size and a thickness of human hair is placed under the retina. The person also needs to wear a glass which is nothing but a video camera. The glass sends the photo of a text document to the microchip. After much background work, the blind person can read the text!
There is a catch! The blind person has to take enough training to learn how to interpret text from the image! But, a blind person can go to great lengths to be able to read again!
Those of us who are still blessed with proper vision, we must care for this special blessing!!

On Monday, October 20, I worked full-time. I consulted 26 patients in my chamber. There was no emergency case! We are getting a good number of adults and children with seasonal flu. One member of a family gets it, and other members get it too! There is usually no scape!
I could walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes in the morning. However, I was able to take over 12 steps on Monday.
I got the Fitbit weekly progress report in my email today. Here is the screenshot from the email.
I was able to reach the 10,000 steps mark on three out of seven days only. Thursday was the best day with 11,674 steps! On average I made 9,169 steps per day. I burned an average of 2,359 calories daily!
Thank you very much for reading my post.

Thanks for the EDS project info! I delegated a few amount of HP too but hope to increase it by next month.
10k steps! That's awesome!
I have the Actfit App but it doesn't take note of my steps even after account set up.
Please do you have any idea of what the cause might be?

WOW, the technology for the blind is really amazing, before long they might have cars that they can drive.
