Say Hello To The Latest Upgrade... Blurt Dashboard

avatar

Ahh, yes. These past few days since I've started coding again have been interestingly productive. When I got done with the console application done that connects to the Blurt API, I figured I would build a simple front end. After that, I immediately got enthused with another project (which distracted me for the entirety of yesterday).

For now, lets talk about what I have so far with the Blurt Dashboard before I share info on the other project.

First and foremost, the visuals are self explantory.

Does it look good?

No.

Does it work?

Surprisingly, yeah.

Some interesting backend notes: This Dashboard was built in C# and it connects to the same Javascript autovoter console I built earlier, but now the console has more features and is hosting a local server (one of its biggest upgrades). It connects to Blurt RPC nodes (naturally) hosted by others. The dashboard simply connects to the server giving me user control through the GUI.

Simply put...

  • This application Auto-votes a list of whitelisted authors on the Blurt Blockchain in the background.
  • It connects to and updates vital user information to the user regarding their Blurt account and displays it via WPF Application.
  • You can broadcast a post with a title, tag, and content in the dashboard.

Do I need it?

Not really.

Is it useful?

Yeah.

Does it take power away from WebApps/Websites and give you back your power?

Absolutely.

One Blurt at a time.

Here are some serious upgrades (not just small fixes) I'm considering, IF I decide to work on them:

  • Pull more Blurt Feed information and allow users to upvote and comment on posts directly in the dashboard. Give them the ability to click a post and open it fully to read it.
  • Send Blurt w/ memo & delegation features.
  • Add beneficiaries per post (with saved record for regular posts).
  • Post templates (also included are tags and beneficiaries).
  • Log in/out feature. For now it directly takes your key directly in the code (not smart), but still protected.

Now, This is My Teasing Call to Action to Blurt Devs...

Think Bigger.

Think of users being able to access Blurt directly from a dedicated application on their devices, rather than through a web browser. Now take that further. Imagine this application evolving into something far more dynamic and multifaceted—perhaps a central dashboard, an intelligent document editor with built-in Blurt capabilities, or even a seamless extension of a personal finance tracker you’ve created.

Push the idea even more. Maybe you develop an advanced machine learning system—something like “WorldDestroyer9000”—that deeply understands Blurt data, learning its patterns, predicting outcomes, and even taking autonomous actions as your own “Twin Blurt Agent.” At that point, Blurt starts to feel almost pseudo-sentient, adapting and responding in ways that blur the line between tool and collaborator.

A simple Chrome dashboard or a basic local interface? That’s cute... but not exactly riveting.

Literally... Been there, done that (see above)

It isn't interesting. I LITERALLY built this dashboard in less than 36 hours, in between enjoying my sister's birthday and chilling.

How about this... Maybe build a MMO video game or those typical mobile games on Andoird that allows users to purchase in-game assets using Blurt as a part of the video games ecosystem. Maybe, those same servers for the video game can be decentralized with Blurt in focus?

Don't Look At Me, I'm Just The Idea Guy

Blurt has got potential. One step at a time, I guess. But I'm not a full-time dev, nor part-time, in fact, I rarely code.

However, From Twiggy to BeBlurt, these are great projects that I fully support. Yet, not to burst anyone's bubble, we need more...MOOOOOORE!!!

I want to be able to walk into my fairytail fantasy wonderland shop filled with butterflies and rainbows to buy the Ulimate Demonslayer Buster Sword for 5,000 Blurt... Is THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?

Anyways.
Hope ya'll enjoyed my post.
