One of our bakers QUIT!

One of our bakers quit, so it seems I'm back in the bakery... So sudden? One of the bakers recently quit out of nowhere and told us he found another job. He didn't offer us a two-week notice or anything, which is a bummer because he has been with the company for several years. It was pretty sudden, but I suppose he had to start his new job immediately.

Since he is gone, it seems my training for management will have to wait because they're sending me back into the bakery. Not on the baking side, but the production side. Production is where we prepare most of the baked goods before we bake them and I've done it before. It's one of those positions that makes you very tired because you have to constantly work the dough. Yet, I'm sure it will be fine.

Given that he left, we'll have to start scrambling to find another baker so I can continue my training for a supervisor position or assistant manager. What a bummer, but it is what it is.
