Faith, Heritage, and Freedom: A Strong Voice from the Heart of Florida

As a Florida-raised man with Puerto Rican and Peruvian roots, I live unapologetically pro-United States, pro-Latino, pro-Catholic, and pro-Florida. These identities don’t conflict—they complement one another, weaving together faith, culture, and patriotism that I claim with honor.

I believe in America not as a perfect place, but as a nation that gives us the freedom to strive, speak, and believe. I cherish my Latino heritage—its music, food, resilience, and warmth—because it’s part of what makes this country stronger. My Catholic faith grounds me, shaping my values of family, humility, and service. And living in Florida—where palm trees sway over communities as diverse as the ocean is wide—has taught me that home is not just where you live, but where your identity thrives.

I don’t apologize for loving my country, for speaking Spanglish, for lighting a candle to St. Jude, or for defending my state when it’s misunderstood. I stand at the intersection of cultures, not divided by them, but elevated. I am the product of many legacies—and none of them ask me to shrink. I embrace them all, boldly and faithfully, because this is my America. And it’s beautiful.
