SlothlySavers 18th 2026 and May Day HIVE POWER UP DAY!

As usual, I write my saving update with #Slothlysavers, a new project as a #saturdaysavers replacement.
As usual on every 1st of all month, we have a HIVE POWER UP DAY (HPUD). This day was supposed to be great, and it was during the old days. However as Hive Price is dipping, people start to lose interest with all kind of long goal on HIVE, so many people stop participating this event. Some even say posting HPUD is just a way to shit post for rewards, well everyone has their right to sound out their opinion.
I have my own reason why I keep posting HPUD every month. It is almost similar with the reason why I join #SLOTHLYSAVERS club. I love to save up for something in future, let say I am a long term holder and a dreamer... but not delulu, maybe almost be delulu lol.
I believe that we should encourage people by our action, not our words. I like being here on HIVE, so I stake HIVE regularly and I let people know that I am still staking HIVE up. I do not get align with people who push other to stake and hold because they have more HIVE POWER. I think it doesn't matter if you have already massive amount of staked HIVE (HP), that's great, but how can you encourage other people to increase their HP if yourself is keep withdrawing? It is similar as forcing new people to be your exit liquidity.
So it doesn't matter how big you are, how small you are, all of us here should power up for the sake of making the ecosystem better. And during HPUD it doesn't matter if you will do it big or small, your participation that matters most.
I powered up for 200 HP earlier. It is around 12 USD. That a small volume right? Sometime I confuse some big stakers say why I keep doing this useless investment volume... Well I am confused why you do not even willing to spend $10 to power up every month...
My previous plan was to power up 1000 HP today, but I had to bail my mothers tax yesterday, around $700. So I run out of cash again this week. But still... I have no excuse not to power up any today.
My HIVE Performance
I am not tracking my account growth and performance in detail, but I make a record about them in my saving post, which is this post and it is call as Slothly Savers Club. However let me share you things that I do not recorded them here
During last month, I have made many posts and I have got around $57.85 from them. It was equivalent with 974 HP, but I did not take them all nor staked them all. Half of it went to Hive-Engine, either to support some projects or to fund my gaming Activity.
My curation rewards was low, only around $5.13. I need to power up more to pump up this part. If you are less likely to be active, you do not need to curate yourself. You can delegate your HP to other projects and let them curate for you. That's why even you have low curation rewards, it doesn't mean that you do not care with other people.
Sadly some people, even for ones that have spent years on this chain, do not think that way.
My HIVE Gaming Activity
I play several games on HIVE, the most intensely played are Splinterlands and Rising Star Game. Everyweek I post some Splinterlands content, from my daily battle, to reason rewards, and sometime I share my tips and tricks.
The things that people do not realize is that playing Rising Star Game is not as simple as it looks. You can play it for free, and you rank could climb up rapidly. However you will hit a ceiling soon, which only people who have spent more time and resource could go higher.
However I have reached rank 53 leaderboard. I have a plan to break in top 50 and it requires me some HIVE to get as many cards that are needed. So that could be pricey if I do not watch my spending correctly.
Let's hope my gaming activity won't hurt my saving goals lol.
Now we get into the main part here
PRIMARY GOAL: HIVE POWER (HP)
My Primary goal is to build up my Hive Power (HP) to a Hive Orca Size, or around 62.000 HP. It is definitely very difficult, almost impossible for me, but that's a goal should be.
I have got 358 HP this week, which is actually only 158 HP from organic growth. I have an extra 200 HP from today Hive Power Up Day, so basically everything goes as I have planned before... except the HPUD one.
It would be a lie if I say I am happy with 200 HP for this HPUD. I planned before for 1000 HP or 5000 HP before, however I need to be realistic and a bit stoic here. Tax sometime, or often, fuck people wallets. When it does, we should be happy if we can shut it down, or PAY them off.
So I am happy that TAX doesn't fuck my real world life now. I will take some days off to rest a bit, before I plan again for the mitigation of the lost fund due to that TAX.
SECONDARY GOAL: EDSI (HIVE-ENGINE TOKEN)
EDSI was EDS in the past, is the income token from eddie earner, the sub project of SPI for the previous #saturdaysavers club. My goal this year is to get atleast 400 EDSI token, so I can get some weekly HIVE regularly.
This part is over, wrapped... wait till I publish my new secondary goal when my EDSI hits 400 tokens.
So that's slothly savers post week 18 for 2026. Let's give our best to achieve our goals this year.
