RE: The Terminator (1984) Was Science Fiction, Until It Wasn’t A Brutal Eighties Classic That Accidentally Predicted the World We’re Building

I saw the movie for the first time in the early 90s, and back then it was pure sci-fi. I watched it again a few months ago, and as you said, it feels very different now. Many of the things it shows are becoming real right in front of our eyes.

And yes, it’s still a great movie. Both the story and the actors are excellent. Movies like that are rare, especially today. No wonder it was such a huge success.
