11/16/25 - The Cryptocurrency Market Check! 🎙️📊 Bitcoin / Hive / Monero / ETH & More!
Bitcoin is now basically flat past 12 months. ETH down a little! Hive down over 50% & Monero up 160% or so! Monero was higher in 2017 top season though so it’s a bit misleading only looking at past 12 months but still it’s interesting action. Bitcoin is really the only crypto that went more than inflation adjusted % higher than 2021 ATH. Obviously Hive is not just not up but down over 60% from the 2022 bear low when Bitcoin was 15K & ETH was $995. I mostly covered Gold & Silver Friday so just wanted to check in on Crypto.
I still think it’s 50/50 if Bitcoin has topped or not for cycle. We got to a ATH of about 116K about 6 - 8 weeks back but even though we’ve come down to low 90K area, we have seen it make massively big moves lower before making a new high for cycle just weeks or months later. I’d say if we were below 90K in early 2026 we can say it’s 95% likely we topped and will enter bear market. Some say the cycle era is over but after topping within 6 weeks of each cycle prior in 2013/2017/2021 I think we will see a transition cycle where timing changes but I doubt it just goes from
3 perfect cycles to totally different condition. It will more likely change a little but not just stop existing. I could see one last leg up in December or January where we head to 140K give or take 10K but frankly I don’t see us going to 200K or something double from here. 126K top is a decent move from 69K last cycle so I think it’s silly to act like that’s terrible but we shall see.
One thing is for sure! The Alt Coins finally stopped following Bitcoin blindly and only 3 in top 250 even broke 2021 ATH, and 3 of the 4 only did by 1% showing inflation adjusted they didn’t. I made the call here 18 months ago Bitcoin would be well above 100K and 99.9% of crypto’s won’t be at All Time Highs regardless, I was spot on. It had to end and it’s a win for Bitcoin that it did end. Obviously I love Hive and wish it was higher! But it was pretty obvious it wasn’t going to happen and now that we know this we must change what we can and buckle up for the bear season. Anyone thinking we won’t crash lower when Bitcoin goes bear part of cycle is mistaken! We aren’t going to stop or go sideways while Bitcoin goes bear. It’s just the truth and we should use this most likely outcome next two years to change what we can and encourage the DHF to stop wasting so much and hunker down for a long winter!

I was hoping you would make a prediction about future Hive price....as you were so spot on about Hive going down....it has yet to hit 7...unless I missed it...but this is down enough for me...perhaps that is still around the corner. ^__^

My bet is that we will have a pretty strong Bull market until next mid-term elections... The kind of bull market that will see BTC go over 200K and will come with a classic Altcoin season :)

It's interesting to see you do a text-based post, but I guess more people might visit it because of that.
As for the markets, I am interesting in seeing how the altcoins perform. I still think BTC will have an impact on the altcoins if it drops. If it goes up, I am not sure if it will pull the altcoins up that much though.
