Is there a protection mechanism somewhere which is not in the docs? I tried to raid SlothBurn multiple times in this raid (today and yesterday) but it's always refused. I tried different settings but didn't help. The UI allowed and the numbers suggested the raid should go through (He had 350-600 comb and I wanted to send 380-700).
We have the Torpor, which gives you an 8-hour shield, but Slothburn did not activate that. I can't see any other reason the attack wouldn't have gone through, unless someone else managed to attack them seconds before you (in the same 3 second, Hive processing block), which would have resulted in your tx failing.
What happened after you pressed attack? Did you get any pop-ups, did your Ui show 'rolling 1/4', did you get a success/fail pop-up? It's hard to determine the cause without more detail.
The oracle refused to accept the attack, so nothing showed on the UI, only a little notification which disappeared to quickly but said something like this "you didn't send the right multiple of eggs" or similar.
Yeah, it seems the account is bugged out completely, not able to hire miners or attack the boss, etc.
Dev will look into it ASAP, very strange one that we need to investigate.

I think I have seen this... and though normal... but now that you are mentioning it. Yeah, sometimes the message appears, sometimes not. I could not replicate.

Yep, and I have to say thanks for always being open with this... this is why I enjoy testing people's stuff... can't deny an openly curated development opportunity.
We've nothing to hide. I've been on Hive a long time, and in crypto even longer; I'm just looking to make things better for everyone. We've created a 0-sum game (for the most part) that runs on a centralised server. So, all we can do is be open and honest about things. This was added to the game from the very start to allow players to decide how they approach it.
I always recommend sloth and steady, but you guys went a bit crazy with spending; thankfully, the majority will go back to the players after this round, as with every round!
We will hopefully change the payout model slightly, allowing more into the boss and honey burn pots, as players have requested... our goal is to make a fun game where 'some' players can earn a little extra Hive. Of course, some will also lose Hive, so as always, don't play with more Hive than you're willing to lose!
