Chill[y] Day

Chilly Thursday in BC, so Yongi and I didn't leave the bed until half-past 8 in the morning. If we were not hungry, we would have extended our bedtime, lol! Thank goodness for our demanding tummies; or the day would have been spent lazily.

We went out of the house for some sunshine after our quick breakfast. The LilGuy enjoyed sunbathing as he sat quietly on the artificial grass. Hopefully, in the next few months, he will be doing that on real ones.

We purchased Bermuda grass(es) and are waiting for their delivery so we can grow them in the yard. We removed the previous grass, which we thought was Bermuda, but it turned out to be a different kind. We don't want it growing here, especially since it is hard to control as it spreads scarily fast and everywhere.

By the way, my boy was still alert, as he received some vitamin D from the sun's rays.

I enjoyed soaking as well. My usually cold spine loved the hotness of the morning sunshine. We must have spent an hour there, so nothing productive was accomplished in the morning.

In the afternoon, I took care of the fencing along the plant beds (I might paint them tomorrow for a cleaner look). Also managed to water a few plants, including the Peruvian Lilies, which are pretty resilient, even without proper care.

Meanwhile, the power went out around dinner time. Thankfully, it was restored after 30 minutes.

And because it's Slothly Savers Day (Thursday), it's time for a little update on our goal (re: save at least 1k liquid HIVE and 200 HBD).

Added 32 HIVE during the week. The HBD balance remains stagnant, but it's okay. I do not wish to swap HIVE at the current price. So I will continue to save HIVE instead.

Smile... laugh often... love more... be grateful always!

I've never brought any pet on a plastic grass, I wonder what they would do on it 🤔

You are awesome. Yongi sniffs it and then sits on it after a while :)

I just can't get over how cute the little guy is. Hope the fence painting goes well. I dislike painting a great deal. So good luck.

Thank you :) Painting done. I tend to love doing it, as I use odorless (water-based) paints. I dislike it if it stinks, lol!

I must say you are truly hardworking. Almost every time I go through your write up, you always mention one project or task you are busy with. It's really shows how productive and hard working you are. I admire that.

Thank you. It's when I set something, I have to see it through before my hormones get in the way, lol! I've had too many lazy days in DD, and coming home to BC keeps me busy :)

Lil Guy looks adorable.
1000 HIVE won't be difficult considering the current price. Best of luck to you.

It's also okay to rest in bed until you feel hungry because we know that when we wake up, our daily routine begins and then continues until nightfall.
