Caddyshack Is One of the Funniest Comedies Ever Made. Wild, Ridiculous, and Completely Unforgettable.

Released in 1980, Caddyshack quickly became one of the defining comedy films of its era. It may not have been a huge hit right away, but over the years it grew into an absolute classic. Then there is Bill Murray as Carl Spackler, the eccentric groundskeeper obsessed with hunting the gopher destroying the golf course. The supporting cast is great as well. Ted Knight is perfect as Judge Smails, the uptight country club president who is constantly outraged by everything happening around him. His frustration with Dangerfield and everyone else creates some of the funniest moments in the film.
