Final 48 hours of the round, keep on buzzing towards those Sloth miners, then figure out a plan to take down the top 3 in the next round!

!Sloth steps, keep on building, slowly creep up on them and overthrow them when they're not looking!

Maybe a percentage of the 3 first ones at the end of the round, get allocated to bounties (respectively) 1st will get X, 2nd will get Y and 3rd with Z. Bounties will never disappear until that player finalises below the top 3. At that point, the bounty of that player is distributed amount the remaining other non top 3 players equaly proportional to their final honeya allocations before the round ends.

Something like that... it would push everyone to try defeat a player that keeps always winning. At the same time, multi-account might just try to grab it via the tweak of never being attacked. So, think about it before implementing if you go into something like this.

Another thing I thought was "special contracts" where people agree to a price for protection. And then if that contract is fulfilled within the time, the payment occurs, otherwise the money goes into the pool.

I like the idea of bounties and guilds, to be honest, but we've still got some issues to balance before we move into the next stage. Keep the ideas coming. Although we cannot implement everything right away, a lot of them make it to the idea list for the future.

As with all changes, we will try to speculate on what 'could' happen, but often we need to change things, then let people take advantage of how they will so we can adjust and change again. Sloth steps

How would that protection money work? It means that you won't attack me or that you prevent others from attacking me?

Both... someone could try to ask for a "bounty" for the biggest player to attack someone for a price. OR, to defend someone, "as in" to always attack" the players that attack this specific player.

The worse part, is that the contractor does not have to be the target. 🤣🤦‍♂️😎

Dude, I pay you 100k honey. Be kind and attack yourself :D
That's the equivalent of a FU.

BTW this hitman service could work in my opinion.

AHAHAH, How much 100k HONEY is on HIVE ;)

Interesting question. I think it's not a good idea to exchange them. A hive can produce lots of honey but even if you have all the honey in the world you cannot produce any hive :D

It was a rhetorical, stupid, dumb question LOL from me.

Something like that... both situations could be possible to contract (in my mind).

But I would say, we would need a balance... so, some kind of account-specific action that would resolve a riddle and turn a random situation that could break the contract. Just to counter WHALES! :D

In simple terms, anyone can do this now, just by agreeing to stuff... but I was trying to say this could be implemented via custom JSON easily.

True, you can already do this with outside communication. A builtin contract would force behaviour. That would be a law-abiding form of protection. But hiring hitmen is different and maybe it's outside the scope of the game.

Ok, I agree... so what's the solution for me to get killed? I NEED TO KNOW! That's my objective...

Because when I can kill myself, I will invest... 😎 DIFFERENTLY!

During a round it's not really possible with your stash. But you can burn your sloths (if you are a monster), and you can start the next round as a new player.

Yep, that's why I suggested the "kill the top" cue... For that reason.

OK, that´s quite a lot of raids against me within a short period of time, can you give it a break?

People forget that when a user don't spend their honey, they are on the top of the easiest targets, so if others that see that, spend their honey, the account that is not spending the honey is constantly on top, being attacked.

Maybe there should be a cool down, say, 3 attaacks max in 3 hours... to avoid this or make it less easy to use it also as a feeding ground for multi-accounts now that I am thinking about it.

Yes, that would be better.
Because on top of it, once you have been raided, your shards are at zero and you can´t easily re-raid. I would have kept the shards at least, why lose both?

It does not work like that.

Depending if you have the "Shield" perk, which only allows the attacker to depleat 50% of your SHARDs, or if someone attack you with the "Double Drizzle", then they are likely also not killing all your SHARDs, hence you keep with some that keeps you attackable.

The only way would be to attack the boss with all you have.

seeing 600 HIVE on the price pot + many player grounding comments for a single account seems we have a good round for this time!! :)

It can increase exponentially the more users come, according to AI...

i believe that! the game is not that hard to play and can be a good form of typical daily routine. the only flawed part was the balance between new user and the ancestor level players that got good number of sloths

yep, already recommended multiple options to counter that, but these things take time to implement. So, understand if some players like @khantaimur, stopped competing because they probably feel it's unfair.

But at the same time, new users should not put a lot of HIVE initially before they understand how the game works.

playing game is one personal decision. We can never put the blame to anyone just because they think its unfair. They have to decide for themselves, But getting players to the game is really a good milestone though

putting hive is one thing but also should back it up with some ideas and technique playing the game to it. but if there are guys pouring hive like honey... that is really a good thing :))

All things aside, it would be very bad if people playing this game would NOT understand that attacking is a natural thing in this game.

What needs to be balanced is the strategies and dominance balance. But even when that's tuned, I would expect to be attacked and to furiously attack people at my liking, even if I have to attack the same user until the end of the round. :D

Simply because that's strategy... and I would expect the same from any other user. Now, what needs to be balanced on those occasions is the aftermath of that, and if the bigger user is always going to grow more and more, then it's not balanced. If the bigger user, for example, would slowly lose ground against another bigger user, then this could be interesting for Guilds.

:P

Anyhow, eager to see changes and to test them out again.

Does the last honeypot work now? Will it payout or it's still just a sink?
