Great Rewards, Tough Battles, and One Costly Mistake in Dragon Breath

Hello, Splinterlands warriors!
It feels great to be back sharing another story in this week’s Brawl results post. As I’m writing this, I’m still keeping an eye on the crypto charts—especially BTC, which dipped yesterday but started climbing again today. The crypto world really is like a Splinterlands arena… sometimes sluggish, sometimes suddenly explosive.

And just like that movement, this week’s Brawl results were also full of ups and downs.

⚔️ This Week’s Brawl Results: Good, But Not Quite Perfect

In this week’s fray 12, I got 7 battles, and thankfully…
I managed to win 6 of them.

Personally, that’s a satisfying achievement.
But Brawl is a team effort, and the final result still depends on the performance of all members. Some teammates struggled in other frays, and in the end:

🏆 ClaNFT finished in third place.

Not exactly what we hoped for, but we still received solid rewards:

• 42 Crowns
• 2,100 Merits (for members who played full)
• 26.965 Staked SPS (for players with a spellbook)

The SPS may be small, but the Merits are very valuable—especially for me, since I’m still collecting Gladius Packs.

Just like in previous weeks, I decided to save them first. It’s simply more satisfying to open at least 3 packs at once—more dramatic, more exciting, and the card variety feels better.

For now, the Merits I’ve saved are already tempting. Just one or two more Brawls until I hit my target.

Rather than talking about the matches I won, I want to highlight one match that I actually lost—because that’s the one that taught me the most.

The battle was played under the Dragon Breath ruleset, which strongly favors magic monsters. But unfortunately…

I ended up using very little magic attack.

Meanwhile, my opponent?
They went all-in with magic monsters and Archon magic, fully maximizing the ruleset.

The result?
My damage wasn’t enough to break through their sustain, and I burned out too quickly. The clean sheet I was aiming for completely slipped away just because of one wrong decision during team building.

Bitter, yes—but also an important reminder that in Splinterlands, the ruleset is king. Misreading the ruleset = wrong strategy = prepare to lose.

🤝 Community Reflection: Why Guilds & Brawls Matter

Brawl isn’t just an extra game mode.
For me personally, it’s a place to grow—not just in gameplay, but also as part of a community.

For new players, joining a guild and participating in Brawls gives you crucial advantages:

• Learning strategies from more experienced players
• Earning Merits to open Gladius Packs
• Speeding up account progress, far faster than playing solo

In ClaNFT, the atmosphere is relaxed but still competitive.

📝 Conclusion & Closing

This week’s Brawl might not have reached its full potential, but personally, I’m proud of the 6 wins I secured. There was one loss that taught me a huge lesson—but that’s exactly what makes the game more exciting.

BTC may go up and down, Brawl results may change each week… but what matters is that we keep enjoying the game.
