A Rollercoaster Reward Session This Season

Hello, fellow Splinterlands warriors!
How’s everyone doing? The season has just ended, and as always, this is the moment I look forward to the most—the time to crack open those chests and see just how much luck decides to bless me this time. After 15 days of emotional ups and downs on the battlefield, I only managed to stay in Silver III. Honestly, it wasn’t the best achievement… but I’m still satisfied because by the end of the season I managed to collect 28,000 Glint.

With that amount, I started planning my reward-opening strategy. Yes… opening chests needs strategy too, right? After considering my options, I decided to spend 25,000 Glint on 10 Major Chests, and the remaining 3,000 Glint on 6 Minor Chests. A decision that felt pretty balanced—one deep breath before diving into a moment full of hope… with a little bit of anxiety.

When the first Major Chest opened… I was greeted by Energy. And again. And again. Several Major Chests ended up being nothing but energy—something that honestly doesn’t mean much to me, since energy refills daily without having to spend precious Glint. At that point, my hopes started to wobble a little. What I wanted most was the Unbind Scroll, but sadly, none showed up.

But it wasn’t all gloomy. A sweet surprise came when I pulled a total of 8 BCX cards from the Major Chests, including 2 Rare cards, which was enough to cheer me up a bit. And the highlight—the card that truly made me smile—was this brand-new addition to my collection:

Pixie-knife Hurler

This card immediately caught my attention. As a ranged monster that can attack from the front line, it holds huge potential in many of the quirky rulesets that often pop up. With 5 skills at max level and a surprisingly sturdy HP pool for a ranged unit, I feel this card will easily become a regular in my future lineups. It feels great to finally get something that genuinely strengthens the deck.

After the rollercoaster of the Major Chests, I hoped the Minor Chests would redeem the session—and they did!

The first thing I was grateful for: no Energy at all. That alone felt like a small victory. And then, two new cards joined my collection:

1. Cullborn Revenant

A card that looks simple but is secretly deadly. With just one skill at max level, it has the ability to return 100% damage when killed. Imagine an enemy confidently striking it down, only to get taken out in return—an instant shock moment. I think this card will shine as a surprise element in many formations, especially when placed in commonly targeted positions.

2. Dragonfang Lancer

Now this one belongs to the Dragon element, and it immediately feels like it has major potential. At max level, the Lancer has the Mimic skill—a unique ability that often makes Dragon monsters feel flexible and overpowering. With consistent attack and meaningful utility, I instantly marked this card as a “long-term investment” candidate to level up.

These two cards wrapped up my chest-opening session with a satisfying finish.

✨ Reflection: The End of a Season Is More Than Just Rewards

From this season’s chest-opening experience, one thing stands out: having a more complete collection genuinely helps both new and old players grow faster. A stronger deck means more confidence, more wins, and ultimately more Glint to keep expanding the collection. It’s the cycle of progress that you can really feel at every season’s end.

So that’s my season-end recap. Not perfect, but filled with surprises and exciting new cards.

My advice to fellow Splinterlands warriors:
Don’t be afraid to try new combinations and keep exploring your deck. Sometimes the most ordinary-looking card ends up being the MVP in the right ruleset. And of course, save your Glint wisely—every season end brings new opportunities.

See you in the next season! May your chests be filled with gold and epic cards! 🔥📦
