For a crypto game, it definitely is a great milestone because most people would not have believed that this was even possible! Of course, there were a lot of ups and downs in the game, but on this special occasion, we should set aside our differences and celebrate this achievement!

Discovery of Splinterlands: How did you come across Splinterlands? Was it through a friend, social media, or perhaps a chance encounter? Share the story of your first introduction to this enthralling world.

Close to 3 years ago, I chanced upon Splinterlands while reading up about play-to-earn crypto games. I signed up on 25 Sep 2021 and found the game interesting during the tutorial, so I purchased the spellbook the next day on 26 Sep 2021. At that time, such crypto games were a relatively new concept to me but I thought why not give it a shot and explore this space, hopefully learn some new stuff as well.

Duration of Participation: How long have you been a part of Splinterlands? Are you a seasoned veteran or a recent addition to this mesmerizing realm?

I have been part of Splinterlands since Sep 2021, so that's somewhere between 2.5 to 3 years. I don't count myself as a seasoned veteran because my card levels and my experience is not there yet, but I am always learning everyday and making friends along the way.

Time Spent in Splinterlands: Share the amount of time you dedicate to Splinterlands daily. Does it consume a significant part of your day, or do you balance it with other activities?

I used to play a lot more in the first year and I gradually reduced over time because life got busy and there's a lot of strategising of the resources. For example, sometimes my staked SPS is rented out for good rates and it's not so efficient to play the battles. Nonetheless, I have clocked more than 130 brawls with my awesome guild PIZZA 2!

The Splinterlands ecosystem is much more than battling - there's much more, like managing cards, reading and posting Splinterlands content on Hive, chatting with fellow players to discuss strategies and game changes.

Accomplishments: What have you managed to achieve in Splinterlands? Have you conquered certain leagues, earned particular rewards, or accomplished personal milestones that make your journey stand out?

I recently achieved my highest league, Diamond II, in Wild and my rating is at all time high of 3200+. Time flies, I have completed all 16,827 battles all by myself as I don't use bots. A very respective 57% win rate with 9,532 battles won.

Upcoming Goals: What are your aspirations within Splinterlands? Are you aiming for a higher league, collecting specific cards, or mastering a new strategy? Share your future ambitions within the game.

I just chill a lot these days. In the first year, I was more focused on the #play2earn aspect and outcomes, in the sense that I would calculate probabilities, compare chest rewards across leagues, time my battles to maximise battle rewards and monitor my card rentals to maximise the rental income - you get what I mean. Now, I have decided to really, really, really, enjoy Splinterlands as a game and just let most of the stuff auto-pilot. On days when I am free, I do some fights, and on days when I am tired, I just not log in. I just let my card rentals run on their own for most of the time, as it's just not worth the time to maximise card rental incomes at the moment given the low rental rates and my small card collection. In short, I just have fun. Hahaha!

I try to keep up with the constant changes, which can be difficult sometimes but since Splinterlands is just a fun hobby for me, I just try my best.

Advice for Beginners: Imagine speaking to someone who's just stepping into the Splinterlands universe. What advice would you give to beginners, based on your experience? Share tips, strategies, or insights that could help them navigate this world effectively.

• For battling, experiment with the different elements and find out which strategies are you most comfortable with. For me, I am very comfortable with Water and Death lineups and I mostly focus on improving my decks in these two elements.
• For brawls, join a guild and learn to fight brawls. It provides you a starter community where you can make friends and ask for help if needed. Not only that, brawls give good rewards such as Merits and SPS. And it's good training too!
• For posting, look out for events on the Splinterlands official page on Hive to participate, be it Social Media Challenge or Battle Mage Secrets! There are upvotes up for grabs and a lot of learning points by reading what people write too!
• Learn about rentals, be it card rentals, SPS rentals, and the tokenomics of SPS, DEC, VOUCHER, etc.
• If you are willing to invest some monies at the beginning, you can rent or buy some powerful cards and propel yourself up the leagues. But of course, there is really no need to because they are so many giveaways to join, and if you ask nicely within the community, I am sure there are many helpful players around to lend a helping hand!
