Splinterlands cards can be combined to increase their levels is an essential strategy for enhancing their power and overall effectiveness in battle. By combining multiple cards of the same type, Battle Mages will improve their stats and unlock new abilities, making them more formidable in various gameplay situations.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to improve your Splinterlands cards:
- Common Cards can reach level 10.
- Rare Cards can reach level 8.
- Epic Cards can reach level 6.
- Legendary Cards can reach level 4.
Each time you level up a card in Splinterlands, it becomes more powerful, gaining improved stats such as increased health, attack, and speed. Additionally, as cards reach higher levels, they may unlock new abilities that can be game-changing, such as increased damage or special effects that can alter the flow of battle.
When I pulled out a gold foil Nidhoggr it felt like I won the jackpot! The dragon summoner was over-powered... but also valued at $175 on the market! I had a dilemma ... to hold or sell!
I decided to list it and was a bit sad to see that the floor price dipped to $125 in only few weeks! It sold quickly after it was added to the market, and I had a big bag of DEC to improve my deck into something remarkable!
The first step was to buy a level one Nidhoggr, spending only $18 for the basic card and keeping $107 profit after the downgrade! The next stage of the pack evolution was to level up OG cards!
My only Alpha card is the Minotaur Warrior, therefore I moved to upgrading the Beta cards! Got the Baby Unicorn at level four, the Ettin Spearman and Spineback Wolf at level three, and bought the Goblin Chef and the Enchanted Defender because they were cheap!
To combine cards and level them up, you need to use the Combine feature within the game interface. This process begins by going to your collection and selecting the card you wish to level up.
If you have multiple copies of that card, a Combine option will appear. You will need a specific number of cards to combine in order to increase the card's level. For example, if you have common cards, you need to have five copies to combine to level two, nine copies to level three, and so on.
Once the combine is successful, your card will be upgraded, and you can continue to level it up as long as you have enough copies to do so.
Combining your cards in Splinterlands is essential for improving their stats and abilities, making them stronger in battle. By leveling up your cards, you not only boost their health, attack, and speed, but you also unlock additional powers that can give you an edge over your opponents.
It's important to focus on leveling cards that align with your strategy and synergies. Some cards work better together, so prioritizing the cards that enhance your overall game plan will provide you with a significant advantage.
Things got serious when I moved to the Untamed cards, where some cards where already at good levels or had some in duplicates! I upgraded many OG cards that I still use a lot, and added some spare ones on the market. You can't deny that the Undead Rexx is unstoppable at level four, or the difference in power that the Efreet Elder or the Ant Miners got when upgraded!
Investing in Summoners and core cards is a smart move since these cards often benefit the most from higher levels. Summoners improve the performance of your entire deck, and maxing them out will give you an advantage in each battle.
The market and Dark Energy Crystals are valuable tools for acquiring the cards you need to level up. You can purchase specific cards or rent out cards from others, which can help you quickly enhance your collection without having to rely solely on rewards from battles.
Went on a remarkable shopping spree for the Chaos Legion cards, and I am now holding 197 different units! A plethora of powerful cards that will boost me through the ranks!
Bought a couple of legendary zero mana fiends, and then some beasts like Countess Sinash and Grum Flameblade! Adelade Brightwing gained Resurrect at level two, and Djinn Chwala gained one armor and one health when upgraded to level three!
I even invested in the Soulbound cards, and got many units at level six for an extra ability! The Dumake Orc gained Counter-Strike, the Gobson Bomber gained Piercing, Repair for the Ferox Defender and Heal for the Imperial Knight!
However, the boost that will win me battles was reached when I leveled up the Coastal Sentry to level six! Now this beauty will deal two attacks of four damage, with Piercing added on top! Beware!
Maxing out your cards is essential if you're aiming to perform well in higher leagues. As you level up your cards, you'll unlock stronger abilities and boost your power, which will allow you to climb the competitive ranks.
At higher levels, you will also earn better rewards, which can further fuel your ability to upgrade and improve your cards. By combining and strategically leveling up your cards, you'll greatly increase your chances of success in Splinterlands battles, earning better rewards and advancing in rank more quickly.
The story was similar for Rebellion cards, with most of them unwrapped in the packs I bought! Had to buy some to upgrade the units I am using more often, such as the summoners and the fire splinter.
Owning 78 Rebellion cards now and most of them are above level one! Do you have a different strategy for upgrading cards? What's your most efficient way to combine units and rarities?
