RE: Sunday morning - Injury report

When I started running longer, I had to buy bigger shoes. They reckon your feet swell more the longer and hotter it gets. I mainly had toenail problems. Nowadays I still wear my shoes big and loose even though I do not go that far anymore.

Same! I am known with some foot issues with higher humidity, mostly blisters under my toes and side of my feet and losing toenails. So my shoes were wider and bigger to prevent that, also I use the lacing technique to prevent any issues (heel lock + skipping a line on the insole of the feet). My guess is that I made an error when I took a few days off with the family to use my trail shoes for hiking and mud walks. The solomon lacing is pretty tight - I expect that to cause an irritation which I misjudged and now will have to deal with. Will be alright mate 🙏 !ALIVE
