Week 4 Stats For Survival Pool Players & Upcoming Week 5 Schedule & Games!
It’s time for week 5! But first let’s go over Week 4 and see how our players are doing.
Unfortunately we have two more players eliminated so we’ll start there.
First up @zekepickleman & his Vikings lost to
@tengolotodo& his Steelers.
The great @davedickeyyall and his Commanders lost to the Falcons. Making it two loses and elimination.
Cheers to both our buds who are eliminated this week 🍻. That leaves 7 players alive & 3 out so far.
Next we’ll go over who’s still undefeated. Only two players left are undefeated after week 4!

Lastly let’s look at who’s got one loss and one away from elimination going forward.
First up it’s Me @geneeverett with Chargers blowing it and loosing to Giants.
@tattoodjay & his Colts had first loss this week making record 3-1.
@silverd510 and his 49ers had first lost week 4 now 3-1.
@tengolotodo & his Steelers win week 4 with a 3-1 record.
Last up @yuribezmenov & his Packers
Tie against Dallas so are still with just one loss with a 2-1-1 record.

You know what’s funny. I never buy modern sports cards but in 2018 I believe, whatever year there rookie cards came out I bought a couple dozen Josh Allen cards (wearing the Cardinals colors) & Daniel Jones, that Gary Zee guy convinced a buddy of mine if u bought 250 - 1000 it’s a good investment and these two would be next two great QB. I paid like $2.00 - $3.00 a card. I got like 20 each and actually not bad buy! Heck maybe Jones is not the bust we thought! But Josh is real deal! Only problem is mine aren’t signed.

I believe that!!! Unless an unseen major injury or something crazy. Which it is the NFL! But my dozens of Josh Allen rookie cards are waiting! Once he wins they’ll go up 30% minimum. I’m not much of a modern cards collecting guy but a buddy told me to buy 200 of them, I bought two dozen for $2.50 each or so with shipping in 2018. He was on the Cardinals and not looking great, Bills took a chance trading for em and boom! He’s the best QB in league!

My late online BF Danny is a huge Bills fan.
He turned me to follow the Bills with him over the last few years. I remember him mourning their elimination from the playoffs each year.
There will be a sense of irony should the Bills win the Superbowl.

They made it 17 games now. Changed a couple years ago. The owners want that extra cash!
Season is 18 weeks and each team gets one week off (4 per week for 8 weeks )
In the seventies it was 14 games!

So who do you reckon is favourite?
Bills I think best bet to win Super Bowl. But with this framework where loosing twice gets you eliminated, it’s very hard to tell usually. Many years the best team might loose a couple games first 10 weeks and a bad team can have good start then crash second half. But obviously odds are with the two undefeated teams in contest (Bills & Eagles). I’d guess Bills due to there division sucking so bad and they play division teams twice. But look at this past week, my team in contest Chargers, are really good and they had first loss to a shitty team last week so u never know! !PIZZA !ALIVE !BBH
Yeah I know Bills were the pick to win the superbowl, well from the sports pages I read here anyway. Like you say you never know.
I kinda hope so. In 2018 I spent $75 bucks buying a couple dozen Josh Allen Rookie Cards. He was not that great looking early and he was on Arizona Cardinals. He’s now the Bills QB. If he becomes great those $2.50 I spent each card will be $50 or more one day!
Speculate to accumulate. Is that something you do every year or just from time to time?
Honestly not often at all with physical items like collectibles. A buddy was doing it so I bought too. He bought hundreds I went with 25. I have been known to speculate often on stocks & such but not often at all on collection memorabilia stuff.
I know coins and things, but my mother in law flips dolls and bears and the like and there is good money in them if you catch the bargains, or are just plain lucky and things take off!
