🎸Three Tune Tuesday February 24th 2026! Classic Opening Tracks From Classic Nineties Alternative Records/Bands! 💿 Weezer & Nirvana & Blink-182 + Bonus Tune From Eve 6!

I’m snowed in with nothing else to do so I’m bringing Three Tune Tuesday a little early!

For this weeks Three Tune Tuesday February 24th 2026, I’m going full nineties and picking all nineties released music! The theme is me picking all lesser known deep cuts off classic records but no radio singles allowed! I pick all my tunes from songs that were the first track on said album, all great tunes with high energy to open each album. Just no radio singles allowed! All lesser known by those who never heard the albums!

Awesome selections for a snow day! All great bands with some great song selections in there too, although most are definitely a little more obscure. But that's what makes them unique!

Great job!

Oh yeah, this is right up my alley!

I’ve been so lucky to see Weezer in concert several times — twice in Jakarta and once in Tokyo. Each show was so much fun. In Jakarta, somehow Rivers Cuomo spoke fluently in Indonesian, even greeting the crowd with “Assalamu’alaikum.” Lol. It was such a cool moment and the audience absolutely loved it.

By the way, I remember there were some emo covers of Weezer songs, and My Name Is Jonas was the best one, in my opinion.

Are you really leaving Hive? I can’t blame you. Kinda a bummer though. Though I also am tired of seeing so many posts with no interaction and mostly it’s people buying votes. Oh well.

It’s going to a penny for sure, sub penny. But I don’t card about price. It’s seeing most here post for bot votes daily like a mailed in routine that’s stale & pathetic. HBD peg will break and other stuff. I think I said all this in a blog recently, I’ll leave link later! 2 much to type for full explanation. Basically by powering down a year ago I’m way ahead of almost everybody who earns way more than me, nobody listens to anything about the changes needed and it’s just so tired now. I will send u link to my long take later 👍

Great selection. I love My Name is Jonas. Sometimes I wake up with it my head. And I saw Nirvana live which shows my age a bit but hey, it's something to brag about 😆

Such a great song! It’s funny, so Dammit was really a big hit but only in alt rock radio and what not. It was thought by many to be an awesome one hit wonder. Than poof, they get a way better drummer and the following album they go full pop stardom and blow up with 3 hits and continue with 2001 release & 2003 release both also with hit songs that crossed all mainstream charts. The only only thing is , 4 albums with hits in a row 1997-2003, they were likely gonna be huge for longer and there sound on the 2003 album really matured and was interesting. But sadly they broke up and the run ended. They’d be in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame if they kept going. Undeniable to have 5 or 6 total with that kinda success.
