10/13/26! Three Tune Tuesday Returns!!! Producer Spotlight With Flood (Mark Ellis) Part 2 (2000's) The Killers & More!
Last week I picked all nineties era tunes from albums produced by Flood (aka Mark Ellis). This week im doing a Flood producer spotlight part 2! The ALT2K era (aka 2000’s).
Flood produced some huge albums in the 2000’s, he produced almost every U2 album put out in the nineties, 2000’s and through twenty teens to 2020’s. I think 10 outta 11 literally. Personally I like some songs but I’m not a huge U2 fan, I will pick a tune I do like from them as bonus tune. Also Flood produced the last Smashing Pumpkins album (before the band went on break for a decade) in 2000 so I’ll also pick a bonus tune from that album. That said I wanna pick all new artists who weren’t around in the nineties so I purposely focused on new “ALT2K” bands. First up The Killers and a tune from there sophomore album in 2006. The band was huge of the 2004 debut and Flood took the reins on production for album 2. Second up its Thirty Seconds To Mars and a tune from there third album in 2009. Third up it’s the female filled band Warpaint & a tune off there third album released in 2014. All album details & info will be below with each song! Enjoy!

He sure mixed that one one pick ad corny as U2 🤣. I mean 30 Sec To Mars. I guess they said hey man make us sound like U2 🤣
I joke but man I hate U2. Sounds like you halfway put them in for bonus only because you had to to tell the producer guys story. U2 sucks. I do appreciate the different vibes this producer can find though. Warpaint sounds like a indie nineties band or something. The Killers I like but first record is best. Next week so an old producer! Like who did Ramones or Polce.

Read it and enjoyed it, but I have very little experience to share any real opinions about music.
Nice job brother, some great bands in there and great tunes! Warpaint I wasn't familiar with, kind of mellow though. Great voice though! Excellent job on picking Flood produced music, they really did put out some great albums in the day!
