Byron Donalds Looks Like The Best Candidate for Governor in 2026

Although I haven't fully said who I would vote for in the next election, I think that Byron Donalds is quite decent for Governor. I do support him and many of his policies, unlike the other candidates.

Donalds has a Donald Trump-like vision for the state of Florida, a Florida First mentality. That's something I can appreciate, especially his position on being strict with undocumented immigration. He has stated that he wants to make Florida more affordable, which is a nice talking point, so it is good that he has been mentioning the issues of overpriced insurance and housing costs.

As a Republican, he still defends the 2nd Amendment and wants to end the expansion of "woke" social politics in schools. Byron Donalds has also talked about expanding Florida's infrastructure to accommodate the influx of northerners moving to or visiting the South.

Although Republicans don't have a strong reputation on the environment, according to progressives, Byron Donalds is working to preserve the Everglades and protect beaches and natural resources.

Overall, he seems like a good guy, so it's hard not to support him in Florida. I'd like to see him as the next governor of the State of Florida.
