entry smash 450
we are so lucky to have the sunrising in front of our house. we open the front door on the nice cool mornings and let the early light shine on the marble floor. there is something special about the morning sunlight but that's not what i want to talk about today. i want to talk about plastic waste. we are surrounded by plastic. it's everywhere and while admittedly it has it's use cases, it eventually gets thrown out. plastic on the ground, plastic on the beach, plastic in the sea, plastic bottles, plastic wrappers on our food and seemingly everything else we buy. marine animals die because of it. and waste isn't the only problem. it's bad news from start to finish, beginning with the raw materials and production, then with it's use and finally with it's disposal and ever so slow disintegration.
microplastic in our water, soil, food and even the air we breathe accumulates in our bodies and diminishes our health. there's no getting away from it. it's literally everywhere in nature, even on top of Mount Everest. it's a problem, a real problem!!
but as i have mentioned here several times before- never so bad it isn't good for something. and so it was one day when a plastic wrapper happened to fall on the floor basking in the morning light. and lo and behold- a shadow appeared.

a bit of a conundrum for a die hard shadow hunter. but who said life is simple?
