Greeting Slothly Savers

Last week I talked about my concern about the decreasing value of DEC. DEC price keeps getting lower and I worry a lot about how it could affect Splinterlands game, especially from the developer team side.

However I think I should let go that issue. Nothing I could do to help the price up, instead I think better if I try to find my spot here during this price.

A few hours ago I swapped my SPS to DEC and I saw something interesting...

The SPS to DEC ratio is getting higher, now we are back to 11.89. I think soon SPS will be equal to 12 DEC, which this is good for old players like me who have licenses and some staked SPS, because it means I could get more DEC without doing something new.

More DEC = better Splinterlands playing experience. I could rent more cards, and that what matters most. I can rent some Legendary cards without worrying I might lose some "money" on Splinterlands.

However that is only from my point of view. I know the reality is that not SPS which gets stronger, but it is getting lower too but DEC is dropping at alarming rate. I think at this time better I do not think about in-game currency issue, but better thinking about how I will play my decks next season.

1st of June will be an interesting day. I will have end of season and at the same time, we have Hive Power Up Day. I wonder should I swap some SPS to HIVE too for better power up or not, regarding I have noticed that renting SPS is more profitable and less risky than buy and stake them... What do you think, do you have any better suggestion for me about this one?

MY HIVE GOALS 2026 - SLOTHLY SAVER

Ok now we come to the main part of this post. It is an update report about my saving goals. Please take a note here that my timeline or calendar is different than the general slothly savers calendar, but the idea is still the same.

PRIMARY GOAL: HIVE POWER (HP)

My Primary goal is to build up my Hive Power (HP) to a Hive Orca Size, or around 62.000 HP. It is definitely very difficult, almost impossible for me, but that's a goal should be.

This week I have maintained my regular pace, growing at 150+ HP per week. I do not need to power up or do extra effort this time, however I need to be well prepared for next week HIVE POWER UP DAY.

How much HP should I power up next week? Honestly I have no money and that's a big issue for this event. I used all my money to pay my medical bills earlier this week.

I might have to sell $100 BTC that I have got from MAGI writing contest, I am not fond of doing that but I think that's the most realistic way I could do to achieve a notable power up next week.

Let see how it will end up later...

SECONDARY GOAL: EDSI (HIVE-ENGINE TOKEN)

EDSI was EDS in the past, is the income token from eddie earner, the sub project of SPI for the previous #saturdaysavers club. My goal this year is to get at least 400 EDSI token, so I can get some weekly HIVE regularly.
