Splinterlands - Purchased Ultimate Chest

I have just recently started back playing matches in Splinterlands Modern format. By winning matches, one of the rewards that can be earned is Glint. Since I have not been playing recently, I overlooked how much Glint I had already earned in the past so have enough to purchase whichever of the rewards I want to purchase.

Glint Rewards Available

These are the rewards that I am most interested - Rarity Draws and Loot Chests. You can also purchase resources but at this point in time, I would rather focus on the Draws and Chests.

Rarity Draws

There are four Rarity Draws available for consideration:

1. Common Draw cost 300 Glint and contains 1 Common Reward Card
2. Rare Draw cost 1,500 Glint and contains 1 Rare Reward Card
3. Epic Draw cost 15,000 Glint and contains 1 Epic Reward Card
4. Legendary Draw cost 70,000 Glint and contains 1 Epic Reward Card

Loot Chests

There are three Loot Chests available for consideration:

1. Minor Chest
2. Major Chest
3. Ultimate Chest

Each of the chests could contain Reward Card, Potions, Scrolls, Entries, Merits, Energy or Jackpot. Here are the drop rates for the Ultimate Chest. The Minor and Major Chests have lower drop rates for the higher level rewards so it will be based on your luck of the drop rates which reward you finally end up with.

Picked Ultimate Chest to Purchase

Since I have over 482k Glint to use to purchase any of the Draws or Chests I would like, I chose to start by purchasing one of the Ultimate Chests to try my luck.

I figure at 10,000 Glint, it would not use very much of my total Glint available and would provide me an idea of the excitement of opening the top of the line "Ultimate" Reward Chest.

the chest is ready to be opened. I can't wait to find out what I get, maybe it will be multiple cards or one of the Epic or Legendary ones.

And here we go...

I received a Rare reward card - Busy Beaver.
6 Mana, 2 Melee attack, 3 Armor, 7 Health and 2 Speed with the "Reckless" ability.

I am not familiar with this card at all and have not yet seen it used against me in matches. I look forward to incorporating it into my match play.

Busy Beaver

This card has an estimated value of $1.00 with 20 Collection power. I had thought the cards would be soul bound but it does not appear to be. That is one of the reasons I had not been spending my Glint based on my (wrong) assumption the cards would be soul bound and not able to be sold or rented out.

This card has some great additional abilities when leveled up:

• At Level 2 it gets the Stun ability
• At Level 4 it gets the Armor ability
• At Level 6 it gets the Repair ability
• At Level 8 it gets the Armored Strike ability

I can't wait to get this card leveled up.

I will need to do more research regarding these reward options since I have so much earned Glint available in my account to be used on purchasing any of these reward Draws or Chests.
