Rising Star Report #1: Level 40, Cards, and Goals Ahead

Can't believe I haven't written about my Rising Star Game journey until today! 🎶

I've been playing Rising Star since I could remember, and this week I finally reached Level 40. After years of 🦥 lurking in this community, it feels like now 'tis the right time to share a proper report.

I'll be showing the cards I've been dealt with, the achievements I've unlocked so far, and where I hope to take things next.

Hive has been such a fun place to witness documented progress. I've been enjoying reading others' stories and milestones. So here's my first Rising Star community post. It's a mix of highlights, reflections, and goals for the road ahead.

Cards on the Table

I don't have many cards yet collected. In total I've pulled 13 cards and no duplicates! One of my first ones is a Pizza Box that can refill my energy to 100% if used and can only be used once every 24 hours.

Other than that is a bunch of commons, including an i7 Mid Range Keys, an i8 Mid Range Mix, and an i11 Mid Range Drum.

For people, I managed to pull a common Buster the sax player, two common guitarists Curtis and Joel, Dalilah the dancer, and a common singer/social media influencer, Keely. To get around, the band uses a common t6 Cheap Car.

Rares: R50 Ali 🎤

I have somehow managed to pull 3 rares. The first one is an R50 Ali, a guitarist I am using in the band as a singer. The other two are the R53 Tabla, which I am using in my band also, and the R72 Nadaswaram.

I'm excited to grow the band with new members soon! First, we'll need to complete the Band Auditions mission, something I haven't tackled yet because I'm still building up the fanbase. Right now it's mostly a handful of loyal (and slightly tipsy) fans keeping the energy alive, but I know more support is on the way.

The journey's just getting started!

I try to keep the ego below 40 by taking music lessons often with whatever energy the band has left. So far, we've gone through 15x basic singing lessons, 30x guitar lessons, and 5x production lessons.

Celebrating 850 Missions

The breakdown shows how diverse the Rising Star Game journey has been. Most of our grind come from illegal busking (228), open mic nights (202), and mid week support slots (142), with some progress in licensed busking (63) and midweek headline gigs (114). We've even dipped into the occasional Saturday support slot (8) whenever we reached the required number of fans. Usually from drunk ones.

The bigger headline and radio missions are still waiting for the band's debut... 🍕🥤💥🥳🍻

🔮 Future Goals

➊ This September, I am hopeful that the band can finally unlock the path to new band members by completing band auditions missions.

➋ Grow fanbase to 250+. Honestly, we need to move beyond the "drunk fans" stage to attract more loyal supporters of the band. To do this, the band will need some rare cards that attract more fans (see goal 5).

➌ Balance Ego with lessons and keep under control by investing in regular music lessons. I have tried to keep it under 40 so far, and hopefully this month we can aim at keeping it even lower than that. Say around 30 to 35.

➍ Earn at least 50.000+ STARBITS 💰 this month. Build up savings for future card purchases or marketplace trades.

➎ Unlock at least 1 new Rare card to add more variety and strengthen the band lineup. I'll try to grab a pack of 10 cards as soon as we reach 100,000 STARBITS.

As the band pushes toward level 41, I'm also aiming to complete some (if not ALL) of the daily achievements this month. Even checking off a few will bring in extra rewards and keep the momentum strong.
