A special weekend bonus, 2 day late Gene & Ashlee Nineties Friday Bonus Post!

Me & Ashlee are seeing Blink 182 with Alkaline Trio opening up tonight! So we thought since Ashlee didn’t post on Nineties Friday this week we’d do a bonus post featuring the early era of the two bands we are seeing tonight!

Ashlee picks the opening band Alkaline Trio & a song of both there first & second album (1998 & 1999). First up for DailyJam it’s the song “Cringe” the opening track on there first album “Goddamnit”. Second up it’s the song “Maybe l'Il Catch Fire” for BonusJam from the bands 1999 second album with same title “Maybe I'll Catch Fire”.

I (Gene) take the other band we are seeing live tonight! Blink 182! I pick the second album 1997’s “Dude Ranch” and the classic alternative radio hit “Dammit” for my DailyJam! Second for me it’s tys opening track “Dumpweed” from there 1999 follow up album “Enema of the State” for my BonusJam! The album that pushed them from a possible alternative radio one hit wonder, to pop sensation!
