Your posts can certainly still receive comments from others. Take the post I’ve pinned to my profile, for example; even though it was published two months ago, it still attracts comments to this day.
If hive post earns lifetime, then their will be inflation in hive price like it can get buried in zeros. And people might also not try to read new post & upvote them.
Whereas 3speak is totally different like ads are embedded. & Even it's good for hive. For example - 3Speak is earning in dollars $ from ads. It buys hive token and share them between author, 3speak & watchers. Due to this the buyer of hive will stay alive. It's a good way to stable hive. Like dollars are coming to buy hive.
