throughout the 411 shadow hunter contests there have been so many posts with shadows of bicycles that i have become reluctant to post any more. but when i saw these bikes on the street i changed my mind.

what i really like is how the front tire of the middle bike aligns perfectly with the back tire of the front bike, almost like gears in a machine- the back tire even has teeth. looking solely at the shadows, it's like they are connected as a unit. the wheel by the woman's feet and the back tire of the middle bike are also somehow connected, adding complexity.

also, the handle bar of at least the front bike is uniquely vertical. presumably to ride it you have to place one hand above the other. i'm not sure exactly how to steer the thing but at least it seems to have hand brakes.
