entry smash 407: hunting at the hospital

in this modern world it seems inevitable that at some point you end up going to a hospital. whether it's for your own health or for accompanying someone in the family or perhaps a visit to a patient. it's not likely to be a moment to look forward to, but there's a saying that i have mentioned several times here on Hive, never so bad that it isn't good for something. as so it was, being a shadow hunter, my visit to the hospital offered some nice structural shadows with the sunlight passing through 2 perpendicular glass walls before casting the shadow of the window frames onto the brick wall

this first shot is at ground level

higher up and from a slightly different angle, there's an opportunity for reflection hunters as well, with the brick wall with the shadows on it reflecting in the window

up close to the roof there are some grates. i don't know what they are for but the shadows on them add interest.

so if you are a diehard shadow hunter on the way to the hospital, even if it's not an emergency you may not get the notion or the time to enjoy a shadow or two but then again maybe on the way out there may be a chance awaiting.
