A Throne of Clouds
This cloud started out small with really no shape at all then within about 30 minutes it looked like it exploded and formed a throne to sit in.
Or it could just be four figures in a circle discussing the fate of the lower clouds ther at thier feet.
The clouds always amaze me because you never know what you will see next.
This second photo is the exact same cloud but about 30 minutes to an hour after the first photo was taken. Here it looks like a race between being with dust flying up from their feet. No guessing who will win this race.
Then after watching for a while it is over and the clouds just break apart and start to dissolve as if the party is over, no more conversations to have, and everyone leaves to go their own way.
But as if to say we are not done yet, they gather again as the night time dusk begins to throw shadows on everything about.
Wonderful work you're sharing with us!
Congratulations!
This reminds me we should all take time out in our busy day and just stare up the sky. Sadly, I live in the middle of the city so I don't have such an open view of the sky and clouds. Your photos are fantastic. I do miss sky viewing. Happy midweek!

When I lived in the big city all I saw was small glimpse of the sky. It is part of what I missed from being raised on a farm.

I don't spend much time cloud watching these days but they are amazing

When I am at my desk working online, it is in front of the window so all I do is look up to see the sky. Then when taking my break I sit on the back porch looking up as well.

Clouds watching is a nice activity
Those are some absolutely glorious clouds! I'm definitely a cloud lover (as long as they don't cover the sun when I'm trying to take photos!), and I photograph them often. Very nice shots, my friend! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
